It was one of the best I’ve had with Travelodge so far. Great staff, they contributed to my lovely stay and the location was great also for me.

Was last minute booking wouldn't recommend the single beds far too small, was afraid to turn over in the night so sleep wasn't the greatest. Staff member onsite was friendly on check in

Don't book if you've ever used a Premier Inn. Not even close to their standard, and this is one of their 'Newly Refurbished' sites. Even had to ask reception for some pillows (I promise this is true!).

The staff were very friendly and happy to help. Whenever we raised an issue they were quick to respond and help.Issues with the window not opening despite me closing it the day before and no cold water one morning. That's not the fault of the staff they were very apologetic. I brought two Austin members of family and upon the realisation that there was no lift I was offered a ground floor room, which we didn't need or swap but thank you for the support and acceptance. Also helping us sort the WIFI for my son.Greatly appreciated.PS. Please update these hotels with aircon. The two fans were not sufficient but helped.

Very pleasantly surprised. The room was fairly basic but fairly recently decorated and very clean (thank you Holly), and the reception staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Can’t really ask for much more.

I got woken but by some workman turning his engine on and leaving it running for about an hour at 3am (obviously he didn't care about anyone trying to sleep in the hotel next time him.The hallway stunk of drugs marijuana" and the police got called this is the second and last time I stay at a Travel Lodge in Reading last time police got called again. Seems to be a drug problem in Reading.The room was clean and bed was nice though."

Travelodge Reading Whitley
The best Travelodge hotel ever. There was kind staff especially the hotel manager and we were kindly welcomed to the hotel we have booked separate rooms and they have 2 rooms together. The rooms at first impression were lovely although some of the parts of the room are broken. There was bubble gum at the sink and the hairs and body wash was empty. It was refilled later on. Worth it in my opinion. Thank you very much for our stay.

Newly renovated rooms which were very spacious, modern and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed for 4 nights and was fantastic location, with a puregym, morrisons and aldi just down the road!
