I generally try not to moan but this has been a shambles from start to finish.2/11- found a fridge we liked on the website and saw it said delivery from tomorrow. We wanted to view it in the show room before buying. It was a 40min drive so rang up first to check it was actually available to see. After a phone call the lady kindly went to check and confirmed yes it’s here. Brill! Get to the shop and it’s not there. Obviously a bit disappointing but things happen, clearly been a mix up. Adrian helped us view similar fridges and other fridges by the brand we were interested in. He then suggested we buy the fridge now to get the delivery clock ticking. We asked when it would be available and he said 5-7 days. We confirmed that we’d seen from tomorrow on the website so he rang another department and he confirmed they had it in stock and so should be with us shortly. Sorted. Paid up.My partner rang in Tuesday and asked if there was any update on the delivery day and they person on the end of the phone was very rude and said it says 5-7 days so not before then and that was it.By the following Thursday (a week after buying the fridge) we hadn’t heard anything from them at all. We had also noticed in this time they had removed the “from tomorrow” delivery message on their website. When I rang that afternoon I was greeted with a number of explanations as to why we don’t have our fridge yet, one being a cyber attack. I said I appreciate that it sounds like an unfortunate situation has occurred however they could’ve still rung us to let us know and the response was we were just about to ring you. I then asked when can we expect our fridge and she said if we can come and pick it up we could get it by Monday (I have a small car so no) but maybe Tuesday. She said she’d put a note on my account and they’ll keep us updated. My partner received a call from them at 4.30pm on Monday evening to say it probably won’t be Tuesday for delivery but maybe Wednesday and they’ll let us know. Heard nothing on Tuesday and then on Wednesday morning at about 8am I get a text message from a random number to say they are delivering our fridge between 12-2. Thankfully I work at home and was able to move meetings around to make it work but a few hours notice is really not good enough.Finally the delivery people arrive and try and walk off after carrying the box in and not unpack it (it’s not loads but we’d paid extra for them to take away the packaging). They’ve left a bit of the packaging but at this point just glad the fridge is in our house!The whole experience has been infuriating and very disappointing to say the least. We have a whole kitchen to kit out but we won’t be going back there any time soon. Hopefully the fridge works better than their company!

Completed a very dodgy repair to our oven, leaving a connector arcing which eventually tripped the fuse box when it eventually failed.They refused to attend to rectify the issue, which we were very lucky didn't cause a fire!Would avoid at all costs.Pictures included to show the heat damaged to wiring and insulation, exposed wires, and damaged spade terminal.Update following their reply:It's worth noting a month prior to posting this review, I'd been in touch with them, and they were looking into it"

Absolutely brilliant. About 12 Years ago I kitted out my whole house with appliances from here, and they've all stood the test of time. Finally had to replace the washing machine, so went out to their Hengrove outlet. Adam in the showroom was really helpful, including about booking process for delivery. Lee and Romano have just been to deliver & connect the new one and take away the old. They were really polite, didn't complain it was upstairs, sorted out the lino underneath while they were at it, took everything away, and left it all tidy, clean, and tested it was in working order. Couldn't be happier with this brilliant company.

Waited in last Tuesday for a washing machine bought on Sat 2nd Sept. Waited in all day nothing came. Phoned on the day and told they left a message on answerphone (we don't have answerphone), will be in Monday 11th and then delivered Wednesday. Phone today and told should not have been told that and MAY be in on Thursday 14th to be delivered Monday 18th next week... Over 2 weeks for delivery and still no guarantee of delivery, wish I had never used this company and will never use it in the future.

We needed new appliances for a kitchen renovation and had driven past NE Appliances a few times. So glad we went in to look! We thought we knew what we wanted but Adrian was really helpful and showed us a range of things - not a pushy salesman but someone who listens and we ended up buying a sink, dishwasher, hob and extractor fan from him at a good price. We had to push delivery back a few times due to building delays and Adrian was happy to help and everything was delivered on time and in perfect condition. They can order in more products than on show so worth asking if you are after something in particular. It was a real pleasure to purchase from a shop, rather than online!Will definitely use again if we ever need to.
