The cafe was very busy but, having booked a table, we very much enjoyed the light lunch which was brought to our table in reasonable time. Comfortable and not too noisy. Thank you

I can always find good offers in store. Its dog friendly which is great even the cafe has a dog friendly part to sit and have a coffee. At the moment there is a beach through the school holidays which looks great fun for children.

Popped in today on the way into Cambridge. We had 2 roast dinners which were yummy. Agree with others about the counter and delay with ordering hot drinks. But the staff were fantastic. I have a food allergy and they went out of their way to check what I had ordered was going to be ok. Lady on the till carried my tray to our table as I had a crutch in one hand. Great experience and will definitely be back.

This is our local garden centre and we love it. It has a good size car park, great selection of garden and home products and a fantastic cafe with hot and cold food served. Their Christmas decoration sale when they reopen after the festivities are also great.

Went to “Sunflower Cafe” for a spot of luncheon. All I can say is that I was thrilled. I had the best jacket potato I have ever eaten- the chef hardly jacketed their skills when it came to making one of these bad boys! Firstly, the potato was fluffy and delicate and was mingled with a generous serving of butter. Now this may seem interesting to some, but clearly the chef knew what they were doing and my compliments go out to them- they added a furtive layer of cheddar cheese BEFORE the beans- I know!! Before the beans! Initially I wasn’t made up with the idea, but as soon as I took a bite I knew this was the best jacket I have eaten. I think I will be having by birthday meal here! I didn’t want to pass this information around much like a hot potato, but to have someone experience what I did on this unassuming day, is enough for me to share.

One of a group of three garden centres in the Cambridge region (Horningsea, Fordham and Shelford), the Horningsea branch is not huge but has a decent selection of plants and garden equipment and pet stores, plus a decent café with 50 or so tables. Like many places, in October to December, there is a large amount of space given over to Christmas decorations and gifts.

A shame. Popped in at about 11. 00 for 2 coffees. Cafe virtually empty. Allocated a table which was noted on a white board. Went to order 2 coffees. 4 staff. One making coffee, chocolate etc. for customer in front of us. Waited for 10 minutes for attention from other staff who were chatting behind counter and gave up. Looks a nice place, but why have to wait to be given a table in a near empty restaurant that is counter service? I note we are not alone in this.
