Outstanding hand made hardwood cabinet, British made, Shaker kitchens. Having been less than impressed by the cost benefit of other kitchen companies we were very pleasantly surprised by Olive and Barr who were extremely competitive- unbelievably they offered quotes similarly priced to Benchmarx and Wren. However, the cabinetry is beyond comparison with mass produced MDF commercial manufacturers and the quality of their work was clearly evident in their superb showroom. Farrow and Ball colour pallets and a wide range of price matched appliances were available. Soft hinged drawers and cabinets, not offered at some other Shaker kitchen companies we’ve been to, offered subtle modern finesse to more discerning customers. Good range of Quartz, marble, granite and wood work tops and most importantly of all a personable, knowledgeable and engaged team of designers. Very pleased with our first Kitchen purchasing experience and happy to recommend. BZ, 5 stars.

We found Olive ad Barr by via a friend recommendation and I am so glad we did! We recently finished a huge renovation and as always the budget was getting tighter and tighter towards the end. I really did my research into kitchen suppliers due to this and was more than delighted that Olive and Barr came out tops compared to Howdens, Wren and Magnet. The quality of the cabinets shows, we get so many comments from friends. The kitchen arrived built so the install cost less as it was a case of carrying them over to the other side of the room. The soft close on the doors and draws, as standard, and magnetic system is beautiful. I am feeling like a kitchen geek writing this but we are truly delighted with it. My partner loves cooking in it and I am loving the food being produced :) Win win! Jokes aside, everyone one we dealt with at Olive and Barr were fantastic, they truly are kitchen geeks and clearly take such pride in what they do. My only real regret is not being able to order flooring from Olive and Barr because again the quality and price was spot on. We didn't due to project time scales and the fact I took to long to decide on what I wanted. My fault! Highy recommended!

This review is of an Olive and Barr bespoke kitchen installation just over 4 years old now. The kitchen was installed by them in June 2019. This review is of 5th Jul 2023.Installation is at Upton St Leonards, Gloucestershire.We have been very pleased with the shaker style (hand painted) kitchen that was designed and installed by Olive and Barr.We had a small issue with the kitchen tap handle recently and James Robson was efficient and responsive and obtained a solution from the manufacturer which resulted in resolving the problem.The images attached show the current kitchen which is used daily of course. We have a solid oak worktop and a quartz worktop on the island unit. Olive and Barr provided the double fitted larder unit, freestanding dresser" and units to accommodate dishwasher

We are so absolutely pleased with our Olive and Barr kitchen. I really don’t know why you would go anywhere else. The team are so friendly and knowledgeable and our new kitchen is just amazing. The whole process from design, to delivery and installation was seamless. A big thank you to the whole team.

I am so happy with our beautiful shaker kitchen and I can't recommend Olive and Barr highly enough .Having recently bought our forever home I wanted a classic shaker style kitchen that was going to last a lifetime.We did lots of research and found that an Olive and Barr kitchen wasn't excessively more than a magnet / howdens / wren but the quality was far superior.I had originally wanted a Devol kitchen, as i fell in love with one of the colours they make their kitchens in, but having visited both showrooms we found the quality of Olive and Barr was parallel to Devol, yet they were more reasonable cost wise, offered a really personal service and were able to paint the kitchen any colour we wanted so there was really nothing to lose.We dealt with James Robson who was such a nice guy, he designed our kitchen based on our specific requirements and was so patient in altering our design 10 times while I changed my mind on the smallest of details. James also provided invaluable advice on flooring, lighting, appliances etc and probably saved us £'000s in not paying over the odds for certain appliances. James always made himself available to us on the phone or in the showroom throughout the process.James was also able to juggle the fitting schedule when we faced the inevitable delays from builders, electricians etc, which took a lot of pressure off us.'Max' fitted our kitchen and he was the ultimate professional and we were very comfortable having him in our home. Various tradesmen visited our house after the kitchen was fitted and all commented on accuracy and precision of the kitchen fit!The kitchen was part of a full house renovation and of all the choices we made during the renovation, the kitchen is the one i am most happy with. You are in good hands if you choose Olive and Barr and will end up with a beautiful shaker kitchen.

Olive and Barr provide exceptional quality kitchens at a very reasonable price. From the initial design right through to installation everything was dealt with extremely professionally. The units are well constructed, good quality and durable. I am enjoying my new kitchen and would recommend Olive and Barr without hesitation.
