I’ve been using the Local from the day it opened, first of all as the shop and when the cafe opened I’ve been going there 4-5 days a week for my lunch. The food is of excellent quality and always fresh and reasonably priced. They are always happy to prepare my food for certain times when I place an order in advance so I can collect it. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and are professional at all times. I will be continuing to use the Local as a shop and cafe due to the friendly and professional service they deliver, I would like to say well done and thank you

Went here for a coffee and chat after a Totsplay in Llanishen Rugby Club. 10 of us turn up with pushchairs/babies and they were able to accommodate. The staff are so lovely and friendly. I had a lovely hot chocolate too.

Absolutely amazing service - never fail to impress. The new seating area is an amazing addition to the place and the staff are lovely. I pop in most days for my lunch at work and am obsessed with steak and cheese bars (would 100% recommend)

Steak bakes are to die for!! In my opinion I find them nicer than greggs! Lovely staff

Review for the cafe, not the shop. Unlike others on here it was probably the worst cafe I've been to. A 50 minute wait for lukewarm food, chewy toast, and a tiny portion. No toilets and no highchair (i did ask).I went on a Saturday and it was only one other food order before mine but there was one girl both serving and making food and she seemed new and was definitely struggling.Prices are low and I'm not that fussy but this really wasn't great....

The Breakfast was lovely.The young girl that served me was very polite and helpful.The older lady was a nasty, horrible, vindictive bully and belittling the younger girl so all could hear, calling her stupid ETC.If she is the manager you need some people training.Wont be visiting there again
