Signet Apartments - Triangle

Comfortable place!

My stay in Signet Apartments was excellent, the staff were very friendly and efficient. The apartment was close to the train station and within walking distance of the centre of Cambridge. I would recommend these apartments to anyone considering a trip, either business or pleasure!

It's a real shame I am having to leave a negative review here as this could have been rectified right at the start. All of the reviews I have found are 4 and 5 stars.I rely on reviews myself to make a decision on a lot of the things I do, I also myself like to leave reviews for a lot of the places I go as I feel it is helpful for people like myself. There is nothing better than a great recommendation.Everything started off great the contact was brilliant. Myself, my partner and our dog made our firest visit cambridge for a long bank holiday weekend. We were asked to call 1 hour and 20 minutes prior to our arrival which we did. When we arrived we waited for around 15 minutes before someone showed up to let us in, it was raining and getting late as you can imagine we just wanted to get inside and get settled. I had to call and find out what was going on. When someone arrived to let us in they showed us to our allocated parking space in the gated and cctv monitored under ground carpark. It was great, we parked our car in the very quiet carpark. The garage door key to the lift didn't work so we had to walk back out of the underground parking to the main entrance in the rain, and had to do this again a few times with all of our belonging for the weekend (not to mention dog bed etc!) First impressions of the apartment was nice, however once we finally got our belongings in and settled down we started to notice some issues which don't sit well when you believe you are in 'Luxury serviced apartments' we couldn't open the doors to the balcony without fighting with the curtains. The rails were absolutely awful, bad design and very poorly put up. The sofas were uncomfortable and worn in places, the bed was very uncomfortable, small and very noisy. The bolts were coming lose, as soon as you were to sit down or to turn over in bed it would make the most horrendous squeaky noise. The shower head holder was broken which meant we would have to hold it in place to have a shower which isn't ideal. It would sit in place and would keep falling. There were a few other issues too, most of which were actually reported back on the following morning after being asked why I only left 2 stars on first impressions of our stay. At this point right here we could have had a few things rectified and we would have been happy however on reply we were told. Ok thanks for your reply we will look into this next week. This isn't helpful for us as you can imagine!Overall we really were expecting a luxury weekend. We spent more money than we would have done staying in a hotel as we wanted a bit more space. We were so disappointed at the end of our stay. Our car was also damaged in the carpark. We are still in discussions with the manahing company of the building.We were offered a small refund after having spoken with Signet at length about the whole experience.I have a feeling some of their other apartments are a lot nicer and do actually offer the luxury apartment feel, and we were unfortunately put into one of the shoddy ones as we have a dog possibly? I'm not sure, either way it has unfortunately soured our experience and won't be using Signet again.

Stayed January 2020. Very convenient location and much better than a hotel room for my two-week stay. Customer service was wonderful. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, close to train, restaurants and a gym. Highly recommend.

This is a very good place to stay either if you are traveling for business or leisure. Very central location just a stone throw away from station.

Beautiful apartment with all of the facilities needed for a short stay. Incredibly clean and well looked after with plenty of space. Lovely welcome, Darren is a fantastic professional. Easily accessible by car, secure parking and right next to Cambridge rail station so excellent travel links and shops. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Cambridge and the complimentary toiletries and chocolates were the perfect touch

After putting the review about the builders and the noise. A lovely gentleman got in touch straight away and apologised to the highest of standards and came to show us a new apartment with a beautiful bottle of champagne and box of chocolates that we was not expecting at all and are very greatful for even though they didn't have too as the property was lovely just noisy builders.Once again beautifully designed apartment plenty of space with everything you could possibly need on hand lovely gesture with putting chocolates and a beautiful white london company toiletries gift set on the comfy big beds all in all reccomend to anyone wanting a beautiful place to stay in Cambridgeshire you will not be disappointed even the grounds it sits on is absolutely stunning and well kept and also thank you to the two lovely gentle the man hired to help move our stuff to the new apartment once again we was not expecting all this fuss just for us so we are very greatful for the professional and quickest sorting out of a problem that I have ever seen.Thank you all Megan and family
