White Bear Waterside & Marina

We needed a temporary mooring and are so pleased we found White Bear Marina. Communication was great and when we arrived we received a very warm welcome. The marina is well maintained and has all the facilities we wanted in a good location. Highly recommended and we will certainly come back again. Thank you to Elaine and Emmalene for making us feel valued customers.

Staff are nice and friendly and it's great place to top up your fuel and water tank empty your toilet and use cafe.

Nice part of the Leeds to Liverpool canal, I enjoy going for a walk along the canal footpath it's nice to see all the colurefull boats moored up.

We recently moored for a week at White Bear Marina. It is a lovely, friendly marina with good, well maintained facilities.Manager Emmaline went the extra mile to find us a berth, welcomed us and showed us around when we arrived.It was reasonably priced for the short stay with water, electricity, Elsan and laundry included and available on site.The marina is convenient for the town, shops and local facilities. We were able to organise a hire car and a food shop delivery and there is a great cafe on site that does excellent bacon and sausage baps.Thank you for accommodating us and making our stay so comfortable.

Very nice place to relax and do fishing

Always a pleasure to walk this canal.nice and clear in places and some nice fishing spots. big perch and plenty of pike.people are always friendly and will give u time of day

Nice quiet Marina well situated near local facilities.Easy access along the Leeds Liverpool canal to Wigan locks and towards the Bridgewater Canal and Liverpool, and in the other direction a long way up the canal through to Skipton and Leeds.

Friendly staff, good food VERY reasonably priced.
