I’ve just had an eye test at Tunstall, what amazing customer service, staff are polite, helpful and respectful.

Very friendly, gave good advice, no hesitation of recommending them

Appointment at 10:55, told on arrival 20 minute delay, still not seen 40 minutes later, another guy with the same last name who had an 11:30 appointment called in ahead of me by mistake. That was enough for me, left without seeing an optician and won't be returning.I get the impression that this place overbooks to accommodate cancellations and no shows, then ends up running way behind when everyone actually turns up. Personally, i'm not willing to give £35 and two hours of my life, only to then get marketed to for new frames I likely don't need.Has a distinctly chain brand feel despite the friendliness of the staff, though I don't get the impression from my experience that there's any leadership there to keep their processes in check and running smoothly.

I've just had my new pair glasses from here along with my eye test. Given the current situation they were very conscious of how many people and how many staff were in the building. The price range is also affordable and have a great range of glasses.

This place is a big joke. Avoid. Paid for test to get contact lenses. Lenses arrived 2 days after my test but no one cared to let me know for a month. Total ignorance from staff.

Great staff, friendly and efficient. I called the following week as needed a itemised receipt and they did it same day.

Very friendly and professional. Test showed need for cataract removal. Appointment made for NHS surgery. After 2 months eyes all fixed and amazing. Follow up appointment very good and was very satisfied with the whole experience
