SDL Property Auctions - National Property Auctioneer

SDL are very UNPROFESSIONAL and do not value the time of their customers. i would not even rate them with 1 star. It was my first and very last experience with them. Took a day of work and was given the green light to bid on the property in the morning, sat all day behind the computer only to find out late afternoon that the property was sold prior to the auction. No one bothered contacting me even though they had all my details. i contacted them afterwards, only for them to come back with pathetic excuses!

Have dealt with many property auction houses over the years. This is one I would not do business with again. Firstly has more properties withdrawn at the last minute than any of its competitors. I guess because not enough bidders registered. The legal packs again in relation to their competitors seem basic and lacking. The cynical would argue theres good reason for omitting certain facts/documents in the legal pack. Fees are the highest out there although yes they are clearly disclosed prior.

SDL Auctions sold my late brothers bungalow yesterday. We achieved more than we expected. The whole experience has been stress free.Alex was always professional yet friendly and advised me clearly on how the auction system works. I would definitely recommend SDL Auctions if yoou"re thinking iof selling your home. It eliminates so much of the stress involved in selling in the usual fashion. Also .many thanks to all the staff I spoke to in the office over the past month. Again all very efficient and easy to contact."

Do not trust this company, had a house up for £180k and said If we paid the 19k deposit non refundable then the sale can proceed.Found out from the owners of the house that they would accept £180k so not sure why it’s advertised at that?Clearly just wanted my 19k for themselves!

When we finally found the house we wanted to live in, after over six months of searching, was being sold via auction we were very apprehensive. We had never bought a house via auction before and didn't know the process. We needn't have worried! SDL Auctions are a fantastic business and we were thoroughly impressed with every part of the process from viewing to auction day.We met Ian at the property for several viewings and he went above and beyond answering our questions and giving us advice for the day of the auction. Thank you so much Ian!The registration process for the auction was straight forward and each time we spoke to somebody over the phone they were pleasant, informative, and very helpful.We chose to bid via telephone and watched the auction via live stream. The auctioneer was very good and took his time on each lot so you do not need to worry about missing your chance to bid. Elliott was on the other end of the phone on the day, he rang us at the start of the auction to introduce himself which put us at ease. Elliott was great when our lot came up and was clear and confident on the phone.We were successful at auction and able to complete the purchase within two weeks. We want to say a massive thank you to everybody at SDL Auctions! We wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Brilliant service, it is my 1st time selling in a property auction. Had a few auction houses come to carry out an assessment on a commercial property.Chris from SDL came across as very professional and knowledgeable, Chris informed me he would keep me fully informed all through the process which he did. Unfortunately the property didn't sell at auction as it was a quiet month due to bank holidays. After the auction SDL starting getting offers. Sam in the office who deals with the offers and exchange of contracts was amazing. She kept me fully informed on each offer and her expert advice was very reassuring. If you want the best price and piece of mind when selling at auction I would recommend using SDL.

Arranged appointment.Valuation person called me. Mr.J..Made an appointment 30 June appointment time was lunch time. he called me traffic on M1. I will be with you about 3pm. I said that is ok.He did not arrived till 16.30 called him few times no answer. . He Text me 16.35pm. will have to arrange call you tomorrow.HE DID NOT.

Extremely disappointed with SDL Auctions.Called about a property, they said it was available and booked a viewing for myself. At the same time mentioned 3 other people will be viewing.Turned up to the property on the day of the viewing to find out the vendor had no clue about the viewing and that the property was sold. Called SDL Auctions and asked them why I wasn’t informed about this and they just said that the property is sold and nothing they can do.Bear in mind, the individual clearly said I had spoken to member of the team on the 5th December about the house. So he wasn’t sure why I wasn’t told as he said the property was sold on the 4th December.Very unprofessional.
