My husband was in agony couldn't sleep, tried everything but nothing worked reluctantly rang for app offered a call back. Eventually female rang sounded disinterested said would issue a presecrption over 24 hours later had to request it again as it hadn't been issued. Don't know whats going on at this surgery the only saving grace is a guy called Richard who aswers the phone he at least sounds as if he cares and wants to help.

I can't give a zero rating...pity!!! The zero is for the waiting time and the doctor. The staff on reception were fine. NOT rude like some have said.To wait for two hours....yes you heard right, 2 whole hours after my appointment time. There were only four in front of me in the queue, but two hours was ridiculous. The most I have ever had to wait for an appointment at ANY surgery has been 1/2 at most, so this was totally out of order. Then when I got to see the doctor, I could see why it took so long...boy...does he like to talk. Just get in...diagnose...get out. Time with a doctor sould take 5-10 mins max...not 1/2 hour at a time.This happened pre-covid (2019) by the way.

I called in to make an appointment and to my surprise I was told I am no longer registered at the surgery. I asked when this had happened and was told August 2020. The lady on the phone couldn’t reason why that was the case and couldn’t specify what my new surgery was. In addition I was never advised I would be removed. I had only joined November 2019 and today was my first attempt to make an appointment.

There aren't enough words to describe how dreadful this practice is. Reception staff are often rude, unhelpful and obstructive, and whether or not your medical needs are properly met very much depends on the medical professional you speak to. One member of staff does not listen, she constantly interrupts and talks over you. Asking for a particular member of staff is hopeless. Prescription requests are often not actioned within 48 hours, and when they are, items are often missing. Fortunately, there are medical staff there who are absolutely great. They listen and they help. Without those few staff being there I would have changed to another practice years ago.

What a complete joke this practice is. I phoned last week and after 10 minutes on hold, I was informed I needed to book an appointment on line, not over the phone. So I booked online and recieved confirmation that a GP would phone me Friday afternoon before 18:45. I then had a missed call on the Thursday and a voicemail left to say it was the GP. He had seen my online form and I should arrange an appointment. I then never recieved the promised call on Friday and so am back at square one. Today I have phoned 3 rimes, for a total of 30 minutes. The phone informs me of my place in the queue. Then switches to ringing but not being answered. An absolute joke of a service.

People are nice and calm, both on the phone and in person. I called in the morning and was able to get through the second time (took 5 minutes). I was able to make an appointment for the same day and it went smoothly, had a small 5 min delay which was fine and the nurse I spoke to was friendly and helpful.I am not a fan though of the system that makes you see a nurse instead of a doctor, I would be more confident seeing a GP directly but I blame that on NHS lack of personnel and resources, so I will not hold it against this medical centre.

Really awful service, so bad I put a formal complaint in to the practice manager which has been totally ignored.I've asked 3 times for a reply to my complaint. There's still no reply so I guess I'll have to go to the PALS service who deal with complaints

After moving to the local area two years ago I hesitated for a long time to sign up for this particular surgery because of the reviews - but I have to say I've been incredibly pleasantly surprisedSave for one appointment with a male doctor, every other person I've interacted with at this surgery has been friendly, kind and caring.My partner and I have visited fairly frequently this last year and the regular nurses we see are so so lovely, they ask how we're doing and make friendly conversations and I genuinely look forward to seeing certain nurses when I have appointments (as much as a person can look forward to seeing a doctor that is!)Recently I've had a string of appointments for an ongoing issue, the first male doctor I saw didn't take my issues seriously but I'm glad I asked for tests because everyone I've seen since has been absolutely wonderful! My partner also had some issues with several other male doctors (must be a pattern) but I believe they're not at the surgery any more.I feel genuinely cared for by the lovely female staff at this surgery, I'm listened to and luckily I've ended up with the help I needed!
