Outstanding. From the initial greeting by staff throughout stay, room, food, drinks, service, gardens all exceptional. Anything you think you need has already been thought of & improved on. An oasis of tranquility.

Excellent hotel. Beautifully decorated with paintings and every little detail is taking care of. Swimming pool and spa are amazing and the gardens are well taken care of. There is a living area with books, nice sofa’s, chairs and very quiet. The hotel rooms are comfortable, great bed, quiet and shower etc are perfect. Recommended!

I got sent here with work for the omega events. Very beautiful building and great interior. The restaurant was very accommodating and beautifully decorated. 2 particular members of staff were standing out for their excellent customer service. Hannah who did a fantastic job, even while injured made everyone feel happy and welcome and did not slow down, she had excellent customer service skills and she was so knowledgeable and interesting to talk to about the grounds and the history as well as fun facts about the place! And Osohan really made the best coffee on earth and had very excellent customer service skills.

Have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay.There's only one word to describe Heckfield Place and that is exceptional.From the moment you are greeted by your car as you arrive, the service and attention to detail is fantastic.The interiors are absolutely beautiful and you feel instantly calm as soon as you enter.Our room was lovely and mini bar filled with freshly made complimentary goods (which were delicious!) every day, the robes are possibly the softest you'll experience (so much so that I had to buy one at The Bothy).Food was fantastic in both Marle and The Hearth with so much being farm to fork from the on site Farm (which is worth a walk to ).All the flowers throughout the hotel (of which there are many) come also from the farm and are stunning.As mentioned before there's very much a feeling of calm throughout the hotel and the focus on health and well-being is really shown off at The Bothy, possibly one of the most beautiful spa/pool/gym/treatment facilities that you'll find and a big thank you goes to Bobby for making sure we were very well looked after there.The other star of the show is of course the grounds-over 400 acres to explore with forests, fields and lakes (one of which you can wild swim in) and there are many activities to be done-we went for the Woodland movement which was fantastic.I could go on but, the best way to find out is to book a stay, you certainly won't regret it and we are already thinking of when we can go back!Thank you again to all the staff at Heckfield for making our stay so lovely.

Excellent place, staff all helpful and kind. Amazing view in the english countryside, 400+ acres of beauty. What really wowed me is the amazing service & beautiful rooms, was especially amazed by the screening room (luxurious), moon bar (awesome drinks) and the food. There is a literal non dairy menu to help lactose free guests and the Bothy (btw only for 18+) is beautiful

Highly disappointing. Fed incorrect information having made a point of clarifying twice via a call to main reception. Left with an extremely disappointed pregnant partner all due to a major error on the part of the reservations team. The left arm needs to know what the right arm is doing. Would have expected better.

Not an easy place to find, but worth it. The walk from the carpark to the restaurant is challenging in the dark (take a touch) the food was excellent, full of flavour, with service to match (not sure about the front of house staff wareing trainers. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Impeccable and authentic service, from valet to check in to the restaurant team. Friendly, attentive and not uptight or pretentious, making me feel genuinely welcomed.The spa is nice, reminded me of six senses (the use of local material earth and wood in an organic form), pool and jacuzzi bit small compared with the newt. But here it is quieter. Plus I don't need a buggy to get there as everything is close by. Love the sauna, the view is amazing.Dinner was absolutely delish and decent portion too. The flavour was great, execution was absolutely spot on.And I love the sustainability aspect of it. Although it does mean little bathroom amenities (which is fine by me anyway).
