The team at Hallidays couldn’t have been more kind, compassionate & professional when organising Mum’s funeral. Their attention to detail was excellent and they guided us every step of the way. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. They’re an amazing asset to have by your side at such a difficult time.

On what was a very difficult day for my partner , her brother and their mother the level of service provided by the team at Halliday & Son (Portishead) was extremely professional. The whole funeral team could not do enough for the family, and the respect shown at all times was above and beyond expectations.A special mention also for Mr Peter Davies (celebrant), who ensured all written requests were performed with dignity and care.I on behalf of the family would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone looking to entrust their loved one to the care of others at the most difficult of times.

The service received from Helen, James and the Team for my Dad was second to none. They were kind, caring, compassionate and helped with everything from start to finish. There was never I question I was made to feel silly for asking and the care for my Dad was amazing. They collected him quickly, made him comfortable and even clean shaved him. He left us looking wonderful and there was time put aside for me to say my goodbyes. I cannot say enough positive things about Hallidays, and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. At such an awful time you need as little stress as possible and kindness and this is exactly what you will get with Hallidays.

James and Helen and the team at Hallidays really took care of our Dad after he passed away. I felt complete trust in them because they are a local family run service with many years of experience.
