Doer Cycles

I cannot rate this gem of a lbs highly enough. David is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. My emtb needed a lot of work doing to it recently - converting to a tubeless setup, gears indexed properly, and general service - I told him what I needed, and he did an exceptional job, and I can honestly say, afterwards it rode better than when I got it brand new. He didn’t try to sell me anything extra, which I appreciated. Before this I had my road bike serviced before winter storage. Again, an excellent experience. I can honestly say, that in my 30+ years of fairly serious cycling, this is the best bike shop that I have used. To top it off, David also collected and dropped off my bikes at my house. Will definitely use again, and would recommend to anyone.

I visited Dave at Doer cycles recently, for him to have a look at my rear wheel which had developed a number or cracks between the spokes. After seeing the wheel, instead of him supplying me with a new one, he established that the bike might still be in warranty and phoned the supplier on my behalf. As a result of his interaction, I was able to get a replacement set of wheels under warranty from Trek.Dave mentioned to me that he’d probably just lost himself some business, but I was so impressed with his customer service, that as a result, I will definitely be back. Used Dave a few times over last few weeks. He is very customer focussed and helpful. He helped me decide on purchasing a pair of hunt wheels. His prices are very reasonable and he always responds quickly to you which helps a lot of cyclists. I’ve got not hesitation in recommending Doer to the cycling community!

Very helpful and efficient

Awesome service today. Brought in my new bike which had a few gear sync issues. Was fixed immediately and they took the time to explain the issue as well as to pass on some helpful advice to a newbie road cyclist! Felt in great hands with someone who clearly is a bike enthusiast.

First time visiting Doer cycles today, David quickly sorted a rubbing front disc that had defeated me.Great to have an independent local bike shop close by that also has a nice selection of quality stuff. I'm sure I'll be visiting again.Thanks David
