The shop and information was closed on Tuesday. Large free car park. Good walks along the tow path. Pub close by with food and drinks. Very good afternoon.

Went there with grand daughter for an enjoyable Christmas event. Very clean and tidy visitor centre, friendly hard working volunteers made for an enjoyable visit. Amazing amount of work in progress for reopening the canal.

Loxwood Canal Centre
This was the base I used, next to the Onslow Arms Pub, on the Wey & Arun Canal. Ample parking is available to the rear of the pub, in the overflow car park. I did not use the Canal Centre, but did download their information, for a leisurely stroll down the canal, towards the Brewhurst Lock and on towards Brewhurst Bridge. There I continued onto Baldwin's Knob Lock, before returning to the Canal Centre. A round trip of an hour. Highly recommend this beautiful scenic area.

Didn’t go into the centre but did the canal walk with my dog. Lovey little route next to the canal, some shaded and some sunshine. We parked in the car park which was in the middle of the route, I’m not sure if there’s an option at either end to park and walk the whole length without turning round twice. Also, right next to the Onslow pub which had lots of dogs in the pub garden!

Good parking and free. Lovey walk along the towpath with many restored locks and bridges. Check the website for a choice of guided walks that take in many different points. Well worth visiting.

Fabulous day out! Went on their easter special...lovely boat ride, perfect for my 4 Yr old. Someone has put in amazing effort and even homemade biscuits. Fabulous considering it is rum by volunteers! Will be returning and supporting again.
