Just called by today to get some light bulbs. Been coming here for yonks. Unfortunately, the lights are now off and nobody's at home any longer. Thanks for brighter lighter days. I need to find somewhere else, but had never found anywhere so comprehensively good and accommodating. (5* for services past).

One of the best outlets for lighting and electrical items that you would ever need and at reasonable prices. Visit here first before going to the high street shops. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, give them a try I dont think you will be disappointed

Bought a ceiling fan/light (bit of an impulse buy) and on returning home decided it was not the style/colour we wanted. Less than 24hours after purchase I contacted The Lamp Shed to ask if I could return the unopened box for a refund. I was informed it was company policy not to refund, only exchange. This is apparently displayed somewhere on the wall and I was told this policy would have been explained if I had asked! Very poor customer service so I did some searching on the internet and found many suppliers with the same product in stock up to £49 cheaper! No wonder they don't offer refunds!Morale of the story is do your research first and don't use this shop!
