This museum is still small but growing all the time. Very friendly people. Well worth a visit. Oh, and it's free too !!!

Good location. Quiet if you don't mind the occasional Eurofighter overhead. V. clean toilets and shower.

Lovely place to stay, situated within the site which once was RAF Metheringham a Lancaster base and there is a Visitor Centre, run by volunteers, commemorating the days of 106 Squadron during WWII. Ideally situated for touring around other Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage locations, especially the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Conningsby, Thorpe Camp, Lincolnshire Aviation Centre at East Kirkby.

Visited the Metheringham aviation museum today. Fantastic place, and the volunteers were very knowledgeable on the squadrons that flew from there. We'll worth a visit and a couple of hours out of anybodies day. Only open Wednesday and weekends.

Step back in to history! Very small but a excellent little museum,suggest you combine the trip to Coninsby and metherimgham.great staff.

Visited the air museum at the site, if you stay at the camp it's well worth a visit. The site is very quiet, has toilets and showers and is situated well for visits to surrounding towns and attractions.

Very good sites for Adults to visit, no dogs no children. On a ex World War 2 Bomber Airfield with a Museum (only open weekends and bank holidays) on bus route to Lincoln and 5 minutes drive to Woodhall Spa.
