Double Image Photography

Great new business photos - head shots and location shots - long overdue because, like many, I really don't like having my photo taken. Philippa took the pain out of the process and bore with me till we got the images I need for a new website, capturing the right effect. I'm really pleased with the results - they'll do the job perfectly.

Philippa is the greatest photographer I have had the pleasure of meeting. I have worked with alot via my business but when it came to photographing my daughter, she went above and beyond. I am in love with all of our photographs and cannot believe the outcome. I will be returning for many years to come.

We were fortunate enough to win a portrait session for our family pet dog at the Double Image Photography studio a few months ago and I must apologise for not posting this review sooner! The communication regarding the booking of the session was excellent and we were able to arrange the session at a time that perfectly suited our busy lives. The photographer, Philippa, put us and our little pooch at ease as soon as we arrived, and the explanations of our prize and options available were very clear. The actual photography session was great fun, not rushed at all, extremely professional and Philippa's creativity was fabulous. The resulting photographs were all excellent, making the selection of our prize portrait very difficult. We did not feel pressurised to make any further purchases, although we did choose a few little extras as they were all so wonderful, and we were given plenty of time to make our selections. Thank you once again Philippa as we now have some stunning reminders of our visit to your studio and adorable portraits of our little chap to treasure in our home.

Excellent! I contacted Philippa so me and my [5] sisters could get some up-to-date photos taken for our dad's 50th birthday. I emailed with a long list of requirements and a warning about our general lack of willingness to have photos taken. Philippa replied extremely quickly, could accommodate everything I asked of her, and even sent pictures to reassure us of the facilities at Double Image.We arrived to have our photos taken and were met with a friendly face on a rainy day. Philippa's friendliness made us feel comfortable and she coped amazingly with our silliness and sense of humour. She got the best out of us.Philippa stayed in regular contact with me regarding choosing photos and then availability for collecting them and was extremely flexible. The photos themselves were amazing, we all commented that we actually liked the photos we bought (which is a really big thing!) and if I could've afforded to buy more, I definitely would've done!We bought got a large canvas portrait and a USB of photos. I purchased a multi-aperture frame, so our dad got the large canvas and a frame of us with individual shots. He LOVES them!We can't thank Philippa enough for her help in making us feel so comfortable and for making our dad feel special on his birthday.Whilst we aren't one for having pictures taken, if we ever wanted/needed to have them done professionally again, we wouldn't go anywhere else.(I'd post the photos, but my sisters wouldn't forgive me)

Very good photos and nice range of props to work with. Location is central and there is parking behind the studios. No pressure selling during viewing either.

Philippa always puts us at ease and makes taking photos so much fun. Even my teenage son enjoys it! The photos make great memories and it's always so hard to choose which ones to have. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have our photos taken.

Wonderful photographer! I've taken children and animals for Philippa to work with & she met all challenges with patience and put everyone at ease. She also took lovely photos that we shall treasure forever. Highly recommend!

We've had many family sessions with Philippa over the years, both big groups and small, with pets and with babies, and we've loved all the pictures! Philippa is so friendly and really knows how to get the most out of the session, even with a melting down toddler! I would recommend anyone looking for photos to use Double Image.

We were given a gift voucher for a family photo shoot, something we would have likely not ever thought to do ourselves. Philippa was really kind from the start, being flexible with when we could find a suitable time to come in for our session. She made us feel as comfortable as possible, was willing to take any shots we wanted, but we were more than happy to follow her advice. We are now really pleased with the digital images and professional prints that we have, and will treasure the photos of our son forever. Thank you Philippa.

Philippa is a brilliant photographer and a wonderful person. She has taken my work portraits since 2007, and she's photographed several of my training events in London. Philippa's work is outstanding and she has a gift to make people feel at ease when taking their pictures. I highly recommend her.
