Not had my eyes tested for a few years as I was put off with the cost and also had a bad experience with another opticians. Today in eye deal optical I received quality customer service from all the staff there. Even with staff in training it’s was a very nice atmosphere and very friendly. I will be coming back again.

Nice staff and service but recommended the wrong glasses for my eye conditions. Had to go to James Cook for a prescription and they questioned why I'd ever been given glasses like this.Edit - I would like to say Eye Deal rang me to discuss my review and issues. They were very understanding and professional, and I've raised my review by a star to reflect this.

I've just collected new glasses from Eye Deal and what a lovely experience. Matthew was so helpful and took time asking me questions and answering all my queries. Then Gemma was so good making sure glasses fit properly. Will certainly be recommending them to friends and family.

James explanation of the wax problem I have experienced was very informative and was described to me in a very expert way which was very easy to understand. My follow up treatment was also very expertly explained. I was stunned and pleased to learn that I needent buy expensive ear drops and could use ordinary Almond oil. Excellent and friendly service. After many years of going to a well known high Street opticians we decided we needed to change. Definitely made the right decision lovely personal service. The receptionist is a pleasure to deal with and the optician was very friendly and professional and took time to answer the query I had about my eyes. A gem of a place.

Nice atmosphere in premises. All staff very professional and friendly. Treat like a person and not like a number as in other large opticians. Would recommend Eye Deal to anyone. They are ideal.

I had a great experience with Eye Deal. It was my first time purchasing glasses and second time for an eye examination. My eye examination was great, very thorough and relaxed. Jenny, who assisted in helping me choose my glasses was superb with her knowledge and experience, helping me chose the correct style of frame that suited my face and I bought the most perfect glasses. Excellent value for money also, I was never rushed and I must have tried on over 30 pairs! I would highly recommend Eye Deal to anyone.
