The Pavement Barbershop

AVOID!!Absolutely horrific! (At best)I'm not quite sure where to start...I was seen by Alek (Older Alek - apparently there is two).I could have fallen into a commercial Lawnmower or Tree chipper and got a better hair cut!I explained what i wanted, asked if he was sure he understood and then proceeded to attempt to cut my hair...Everything i asked for he did not do, in fact, he did the complete opposite - all whilst hitting your head with the scissors and combs...He was very dismissive and slightly rude while i was trying to explain he's not doing what i asked for. He was very irritable as it was meant to be his lunch time (but then took another client after me)...I now have to live with this monstrosity until it grows out.. I paid for the pleasure of this disaster...I WILL be getting my money back in full after contacting trading standards.

This barbershop, with Alex as my barber for 6 to 7 years, consistently delivers perfection. His skills exceed expectations every time, and the service and hospitality are exceptional. Alex is the best barber I've ever had, and his brilliance shines through in every visit.

My first visit and Alek gave me an excellent haircut and beard trim. He is meticulous and has a real eye for detail. Would recommend!

I had a very specific request, growing my hair out long on top and needed a good maintenance trim with an undercut, Alek understood perfectly and I’ll definitely be coming back for good!

I showed a photo for reference, and the hairstylist said he understood what I wanted. I was happy and comfortable letting him cut my hair.However, the hairstylist did undercut my hair. The photo did not show an undercut.Would you ask the client before doing an undercut?Now I have to spend more than a year to keep my hair at my previous length.And the hairstyle is not like the photo, and the style is now horrible. My sideburns are not balanced as well.Moreover, the hairstylist used scissors to lift up my hair but did not use his hand or comb, this action hurt me many times.This is the worst hairstylist in my life. Now I have to wear a hat every day until the hair is grown longer.I feel so so so disappointed in this shop.

Great cut from Alek. Not only a great barber but a great guy in general. Exactly the clean up trim I was after, which honestly is not usually the case w other barbers in my experience. Fantastic barbershop overall and will def be back

I always go to the pavement barbershop and they do great work every time. I've had cuts from a few different people there and they're all excellent, but I usually get Aleks and I'd recommended him in particular.

I promised I'd post a review if my wife liked my haircut, and it's two thumbs up from her.Rescued a disaster haircut from a different barber in the city, and made me look dashing for a wedding. Lots of attention to detail; very pleasant atmosphere.An artist

My fourth and sadly last visit. This barbershop used to be good but today’s experience was extremely poor. Barber A available first but wanted to talk to Barber B’s client (midway through haircut) so we’re swapped from one to the other. Unprofessional but arguably no big deal … except that this appears to delay Barber B going to lunch and he proceeds to give me the roughest cut I can remember. To the point where I stop him before he’s finished, pay up and leave. I’m a polite, friendly client who has tipped well on previous visits so don’t think I was asking for the trouble I got.
