I sent a direct email to the hotel with my feedback, but didn't get a response. I'm guessing they don't care. I wouldn't recommend stopping there following the below experiance. The experiences were, putting up with loud noise coming from plumbing or somewhere in the bathroom of my room called the Maid Marian Suite, this loud noise (similar to the sound of a food processor) sounded off every 30 minutes, for the duration, which meant I was not able to get a wink of sleep. Second to this was a continuous, overpowering, horrible smell coming from the bathroom and into the bedroom. The decoration was shabby with tears in the wallpaper and the cobwebs, dust and marks made the room feel unclean which added to the discomfort of my short stay there. Overall I was keen to leave the place and certainly do not feel it was worth the £75.00 per night that I paid. I'm sorry to have to leave you with this review but I feel it is important for you to be aware of.

I booked the restaurant for a family meal, 19 people and a baby, we were all sat together on one long table, all the food was really good and tasty, all the meals were bought out together and the food was lovely and hot, there was not one complaint, really enjoyed the evening.

Ordered food at 7.20pm, received it at 9.10pm!No apologies or explanation about delay, no check back (think they were embarrassed, and rightly so).Food adequate, pub grub, no more, no less.First and last visit for food I’m afraid, a shame really because it’s local.

Had a beautiful family gathering here. Surrounding were comfortable, child and dog friendly. Good food. Went back on the Sunday for lunch. Service was good and food was fresh amd amazing. Will definitely be going back.

I will never ever be staying here again! .... Ever!!!Room had a layer of dust in various places, I don't think it had been cleaned properly in months if not longer. There was a bright green light in the room which couldn't be turned off, it lit up the room making it practically impossible to sleep.the double bed was two beds together (pretty common practice in hotels) only one of the beds was a bit lower than the other, making it quite uncomfortable.the bathroom was the size of an airing cupboard, the door hits the sink so doesn't open fully, not a huge issue, but not great.the walls are paper thin, you can hear the next room like they are there with you.the water pipes were ridiculous, loud splashing and what sounded like buckets of water being thrown into a bath, it sounded like people in the next room were drowning someone a bathtub for most of the night (they could have been but i didn't confirm this)i was there for two nights and got 5 hours of sleep in total.

Called in for a meal at teatime. A nice clean setting, friendly staff and a lovely meal (salmon fillet and new potatoes)!Very Tasty.Perhaps the Decor is due for an overhaul as it's a bit outdated.

We only used them for food. They were really helpful when discussing allergies and support my son with adjusting the menu option so he could eat.

We came here for a family meal and found the overall experience fantastic. The carpark is large and spacious as is the whole interior of the hotel. We had great service and the food was excellent. Hope to be back soon!Edit: Second visit -Food was good again this time but very greasy chips and even the fish fingers for our little one left a pool of grease; not great! . Burgers were also underfilled compared with last time with a lack of pulled pork and macaroni cheese.
