Lovely place to work, friendly staff with good team work. Carers are amazing at their job roles and treat the residents as part of their own family. Residents happy and well looked after. Would recommend family’s to this home if they needed care for a family member.

Just want to say the biggest thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone at island Court care home for how you treated and looked after my mom for her end of life care. I hadn't heard of your care home before, but, because of the care you showed her, we wouldn't have wanted her anywhere else. You have all made all of the family so grateful Linda (daughter) x

Have worked at island court for 14 years, I would highly recommend the home regardless of the fact I work there. The care is very good, we have very dedicated and compassionate care staff and nurses. This is shown in the health and wellness of our redidents. The staff work as a team and we are all part of a family. I for 1 am proud to be an islander ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First of all, as with all reviews look at who has written them and how many reviews they have actually done on Google in the past, this will normally tell you something!!!WE SIMPLY CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW TERRIBLE THIS CARE HOME IS....At the time of writing this review along with our involvement with the CQC and safeguarding team at D.M.B.C we strongly urge you to read the latest CQC report. In our opinion this place should be shut down immediately until a new competent Manager and staff are found. My Mother was subjected to humiliation, she was scalded, and finally she was admitted to Russell's Hall Hospital suffering from severe dehydration???, she sadly passed away three weeks later...We only hope that the directors, management, and staff are reading this review, and we hope you have the same sleepless nights as we have and the sheer misery you caused my late Mother..

My mom spent seven weeks at Island Court, August/September 2022, while recuperating from a fall. The caring staff were excellent and mom thoroughly enjoyed the experience and made some new friends. On returning home, the manager, Claire, suggested that mom could return any time she wished to see her friends. She has been a regular visitor since this time and is always made to feel very welcome. This provides mom with a social outlet which would otherwise be unavailable to her. I cannot thank Claire and the staff enough for their help and support. To everyone at Island Court THANK YOU! ❤️

Mom spent 7 months on step down care here. After taking sometime to settle, she was treated well by the care team during the days.Manager (C) and administrator (L) were very approachable and couldn’t fault the help we received if we had queries.Helped manage a difficult time for us, altering meals and stepping in when NHS didn’t send physio support after 3 requests.Only downside is staff are always very busy and sometimes things take longer, but overall a friendly and approachable team. Alex and Dec- have patience of saints and their having a sense of humour is useful.Thank you for all of your help with Mom

Myself and my family will be forever grateful for the care and attention given to our mom for the final few weeks of her life following her hospital discharge . Wonderful staff and leadership. The home in my opinion met all 5 CQC standards with ease. Thank you once again to Claire and her wonderful team. We will never forget you all.

Our family are so grateful for the care given to my father in law at this care home over the past three years up until his passing a few days ago.He suffered from severe dementia and needed total care and the staff were careful and kind with him.Nobody would choose to end their life in a care home but this place is as good as you could hope for, it’s clean, caring and the staff seem to genuinely care for the people they look after. Our thanks to all the staff and management who cared for John Brian Cook ( known to all of our family as Brian ) we will be eternally grateful for the compassionate way you dealt with him.We would highly recommend Island Court to anyone who needs a home for a relative, especially if they are dementia sufferers.
