Kingsthorpe Grange

Someone close to me was in here in January 2023 he was in here approximately 4 weeks before he died , he was bedridden , the room was filthy , bedlinen dingy , hygiene poor , staff clueless , also another friend was put in here this year with dementia , she was constantly getting infections , bruises, clothes and items went missing luckily her daughter got her moved before her health declined further . The place is dismal ,dirty and depressing

My father was put in this place from hospital as he had dementia and would not allow him home as sawe was false imprisoning him!He arrived there on the 1st October 2021 and we called to see if he arrived safely and wanted to know visiting times but was told he had to isolate for 14 days, so I then asked if he would require any clothing and took a bag of new clothes and biscuits etc, I was invited in and asked if I would like to see my dad, I did ask if they had the right person and was too have a covid test which I agreed to and after a time shown into a room with a gentleman in ...... but not my dad!!Every day I rang and was always told he was ok and eating and having his meds, eventually on the 14th day we were eventually allowed to see him which I was very excited, but too have more covid tests and a very long wait we was told that when they were getting my dad ready he went unconscious, we was led to see him and a lot of people all around, nobody knew how to even check his oxygen levels as his hands and feet were blue! We got him out of there and in the hospital where he later passed, I asked the Grange for his observation report and to this day nothing!! They are certainly not a nursing home as they just stood and watched my father and lie about how he actually was, they are a disgrace to nursing homes and should never be allowed patients
