Best Western Kings Manor Hotel

Very well maintained, good breakfast and a decent on-site restaurant.Unfortunately I was allocated one of the few rooms facing the main road, which made for quite a lot of traffic noise. If possible, try to get a room in the newer part of the building

James the shift manager was very welcoming and extremely helpful with our check in. We at at the bistro both nights and we’re very happy with the food and prices. We also had breakfast both days in the restaurant, the staff were so genuinely friendly and helpful they are a credit to the hotel.I would happily stay there again and the room was far larger than expected, and the bed was wonderful.Sincerely,Graham

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff made you feel like returning guests. The room was much bigger than expected. Great food and service in the bistro. There is plenty of choice for breakfast. 10 minutes to walk to the train station, 1 stop in to Edinburgh, also bus stops outside hotel. Enjoy

Went on a coach trip with a friend for the Edinburgh Christmas Markets. The hotel was lovely and warm and welcoming. Quick efficient service (we were a group booking) and very informative. Although a few miles outside the city, we were informed of bus routes we could catch if we wished. I had a small double room, which was perfect for me, a nice size, with tea and coffee facilities a TV and en-suite. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. We opted to have our evening meals in the hotel, which were absolutely delicious and fresh and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we couldn't have wished for a better stay.

My partner booked this hotel for a surprise birthday trip. The hotel was brilliant. They went out of there way to decorate the room with balloons and a happy birthday banner. The facilities are very easy to use and was perfect after a long drive. Will be returning again soon.

Stopped here on a coach trip for two nights. Very impressed with the staff, very friendly and attentive. Our room was very nice, comfortable, warm and very quiet. The two evening meals and breakfasts were lovely, and beautifully presented.We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Had 3 days for a family wedding and had a really nice stay. Room had good facilities and cleanliness. Top notch daily breakfast, ate twice in restaurant and food was good and well priced as were drinks Staff were accomodating.I'd go back.

I enjoyed my time here, while I was in Edinburgh. There is a bus stop right out front, and the bus that you take will get you to all the major spots in Edinburgh. The breakfast was good. I had it only once, because I did some tours (which they gave me information about). My room 107 was very quiet. I had a wonderful lamb dinner at their restaurant. The staff is friendly, and that's what I look at mostly when I judge a hotel. The staff here is very friendly.

A welcoming and friendly hotel on the eastern side of Edinburgh. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The bed was enormous. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were very good and reasonably priced though we had to wait a considerable time for our main course on the first night. A bit surprised that there was no USB charging port in the room. There is a direct bus route into the city centre from just outside the hotel.

Decent but underwhelming suburban hotel. It’s a good 20 min drive from the city centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s pretty basic in terms of modern fixtures and fittings and the decor is dated and tired. But it works and is decent value for money. Bistro dinner was ok - nothing special. Breakfast was good buffet (excellent sausages). Room and bathroom were small but the bed was large and comfy. Nice pool - very quiet.
