3 Lochend Cottage, Stoer

The cottage has been done up to a very high standard and has absolutely everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. It is ideally placed for nearby beautiful beaches, scenery & walks. Added bonus for us that it is also dog friendly. We would definitely go back.

Newly and nicely refurbished semi detached cottage. Good sized kitchen, well equiped with an airfryer(!) And a handsome stove. Enough stuff to cook roast dinner for 8. No seriously, I'd have that stove in my kitchen.Good sized rooms and decent shower.Great art work, well worth a look. The Stoer lighthouse appears twice in the living room. Can you find both?Outside was still being redone when we were there. The front will be slabs and the back had not been started. The porch is big enough for two chairs to watch the Stoer world go by or the sun go down. Can be a bit of a heat trap. You are near a road, but that's fine, you can wave to ppl passing and chuckle at the occasional arguement between sheep and vehicle while drinking wine.Walkers, turn right and right again. Through the gate and you are on the Peat road.Watersporters, turn left, you are allowed to use the loch. Go down where the green canoe is.Photos are of the handsome stove and the view from the porch at 5 past midnight in July.

Amazing cottage stay, very homely and the pressure in the shower was the best thing in the world after being in hotels for weeks!The host is amazing, quick to respond and helps with anything you need, the neighbors are also super friendly.The local area is amazing as well, so much to do and see. I will miss the morning walks to Flossie's for a cappuccino and bacon burger!

A tastefully decorated cottage with everything one needs for a stay away from home. Extremely comfortable rooms. Situated in a glorious area with stunning views around every bend in the road. Three amazing beaches and lots of lochs nearby. Plenty to do in the area.
