We have facilitated the Reading Doctor over the last year. Pupils really enjoyed the sessions with Liz, as each session, whilst progressive, focused on the needs of the pupil. The set up for the learning area and the resources that are used really engage the pupils and this helps build their confidence with reading and self -esteem. Liz enabled the pupils to make good progress and this, along with a positive tutor/ pupil relationship, leads to positive outcomes.

Liz is wonderful! Our son was reluctant to read and write and really lacking in confidence. After 4 sessions we have already seen a huge improvement at home and at school. More importantly our son loves going to the sessions. Thank you Liz!

What can I say. Liz has done and is continuing to do a fantastic job with our son. Theo now reads so much better than before and even chooses to read. He even reads without realising it. It's becoming second nature. He's always happy to go and see her. His reading has improved sooo much more than it did at school. I just wish there was something like this when I was his age. Thank you Liz.

My child has made huge progress as reader with Liz’s help. She’s gone from a very reluctant reader to one who is prepared to try and comfortable asking for help. And these were online lessons as we could not find someone local enough to do in-person lessons.UPDATED: Since writing this our daughter has continued her excellent progress. We are so thankful for Liz's patience and hard work helping her overcome something she finds very difficult.

Liz is working with my son to give him confidence in reading and to help with spelling. The tutoring is tailored to his needs and he is very enthusiastic about attending. I would recommend the Reading Doctor to any parent of a reluctant reader.

Liz has been absolutely wonderful. We asked for her help with our summer born daughter when she started year 2 almost a year behind expected. Liz has helped her so much that she has not only caught up, but is now ahead! Our daughter loves her time with liz. I would recommend her to everyone!

My 5 year old daughter is making great progress with Liz and loves to attend her sessions with her. The room is beautiful, extremely well organised and resourced. Liz is patient, calm and knowledgeable and uses her vast experience to motivate each child based on their strengths and skills. We have seen an increase not only in reading ability and fluency but more importantly in enjoyment and engagement in literacy.
