I recently purchased a second hand Yamaha Flute for my daughter. Communication was excellent and Stephen Adcock was very helpful and responded really quickly to my queries. Since setting up his freelance repair shop Stephen has become the go to repairer for the UK's professional brass musicians. His work is always carried out with the utmost care, and his nuanced understanding of how instruments work, and how to tweak them to an individual's needs means he offers a service over and above a 'repairer'. Nice bloke too!

I took up the saxophone after a long time as a vocalist. I was told about Steve at valve and reed so i gave him a call and he was very helpful. He had planned a visit to the Birmingham area and said he would bring a couple of saxophones with him. He spent time with me and gave me a lot of good advise, i purchased from him a very nice Yamaha Alto sax, after a while i decided that Tenor sax was the route for me and spoke to Steve on his next visit he bought me very nice Jupiter 1187 which i am very pleased with.
