Went here because it's my twin sisters local. Everyone knows everyone it seems, so it's a nice relaxed atmosphere with a genuinely warm welcome.Also the amount of beer they have on sale here is epic! And they always seem to get new ones in. If you like beers and ales, then you need to get your arse down here, because it's like a beer nirvana. They even have that heavenly choir sound when you walk through the door....Or was that just in my mind?They have pizza too, with a proper pizza oven. Pricewise, it can vary. They have some gourmet beverage choices in here let me tell you. And you can get thirds! So you can have yourself a little beer/ale platter!You're thinking about doing that now aren't you....Great place.

Definitely my favourite place in top Amersham. It’s dog friendly and the service is absolutely amazing. Now they’ve just added hot dogs to their menu, which is plus. A place run by people who care makes all the difference.

The food has really gone downhill. I paid £7 for this pizza (see photo) which was meant to be 8 inches. Not even close. I queried it at the time, and was told that I was wrong. To cap it all, they said this is how the bases come to us". There are now much better food options in Amersham."

Ive been a regular patron of The Mad Squirrel Amersham since it opened in late 2015. Ive always enjoyed my experience there, the artizan pizza is freshly made and absolutely delicious, a good selection of craft ales, local gins and rum. The staff are friendly and informative, promote a lively atmosphere and keep the place immaculate. There are regular quizzes, live music and terrestrial sport such as England football and rugby. Also the occasional beer festival. Id highly recommended Mad Squirrel to visitors to Amersham and locals.

good stopover when in that particular part of Amersham. The usual tasty beers, outside seating. addendum 22/10/23: £7.50 for a pint of IPA might be ok in Central London but it's extortionate here. minus 1 star
