I went to the tango classes in at Columba's and the teachers are always fantastic. The group is nice and welcoming.

Two dedicated and fun tango teachers. Dante and Lilie. They run a series of workshops, practicas, milongas in and around Oxford, and a schedule of small group tango holidays around the world outside Oxford. Currently (3/2023) the Oxford tango community is largely based around their sessions, comprises a welcoming set of slightly eccentric people, roughly balanced for leaders and followers, with an even spread of abilities and experience, as you would expect for a university town. Their events start on-time and are well run, participants help out with the smooth running, they respond to messages and requests and keep their finances well ordered. You absolutely don't need a partner to attend any sessions, and single ladies feel safe. Highly recommended for a new hobby, or continuation of your dancing at any level. Ben.

It's wonderful to be part of this tango community. The classes are very well structured, easy to learn, all my questions are answered and I feel I make progress each week. I particularly enjoy Dante's BA style of teaching and the Practica organised by Lilie which has a friendly atmosphere and is a safe place for me to try new sequences. I would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for being here and for creating such a wonderful community.

A genuine hub of authentic Argentine tango. Classes, events festivals and a really nice community where you can make friends, keep fit and have fun!

Dante and Lillie are marvellous and very patient teachers. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

Lovely teachers and a great atmosphere. We did the beginners 6-week course as a nice date night activity and now really look forward to continuing by attending the various classes and events they hold throughout the week.

Dante and Lilie run a wonderful tango community. Friendly milongas in lovely locations. Always made to feel welcome. Lots of opportunities, activities and tango advice to develop tango technique. These include private lessons, regular group lessons, retreats and trips to Argentina. Truly, a great community to be part of !
