Collection, pick up and cleanliness of car were good. However I was upgraded to a car the was not economical and therefor my journey cost was increased by around £70.

I hired a car for a month in total from the Darlington branch. The staff were very helpful especially Michael who let me have the car a few more hours from Wednesday at 4pm to Thursday at 9am. I would totally recommend Europcar. I was charged nearly half the cost that Enterprise would have charged for the same length of time.

Good value car. Depot staff helpful in dealing with need to replace fob battery, and suggesting cab firm to get to train station.

Darren and team were top class in every way. A credit to Europcar and a great asset for any customer. Darren went the extra mile - and how - to make everything as smooth as possible. Being a pensioner, I take a little longer to pick up all the info. Time was not an issue. Thank you Darren - and the team - for a very easy, efficient and pain-free experience.

Good service in general. The thing that lets Europcar down is the deposit refund....9 days since returning the car I have still not received it and am anxious that I will not get it and will have to resort to legal measures to get the refund. I was sent a request for feedback from them BEFORE I have got the refund! Hence I have given 1 star....how can they expect good feedback when they still have my money!
