This is a unique pub and even in the morning there was a large lively crowd present. At first it felt like a real ‘locals’ place but I quickly found it was instead welcoming and a really fun vibe. The music is loud and fun, there’s a pool table and the prices are exceptionally reasonable! With the prime location it’s certainly somewhere I’ll be returning to again and again!

Great place for karaoke good atmosphere only drawback they do not sell alcohol free beer and no soft drinks only pure orange juice so could not have a drink which put a damper on the evening

Loud music Friday and Saturday till 1.30am, then the dj started singing, 5.30 wake up call on sat. By bin men and street cleaner, which is not put on Web site, had to ask for cups, spoons, coffee. If we knew place played loud music while open all the time, would not have booked

Nice pub with attentive bar maid. They take ur name & temperature in accordance with covid-19 care. The toilets are a bit dire with facilities. Not ideal if your disabled or limited mobility.

Been here few times for karaoke and had a laugh. Came on a Friday 22/7/23 when the dj was playing. It was all black reggae music. Asked for specials music which he first refused then said he didn’t have. I asked him if I could share it from my phone but he told me he didn’t have it in his mix. Are the specials not reggae??? He had 2 hours left in his gig !!! I always thought the specials were the “business and respected” part of our Uk reggae / ska scene but apparently not. I Won’t be back here when the dj is playing for sure As a reminder we are in the UK. We welcome all kinds of music. Why does it have have to be one type all night and from the same region?? Think we lost our roots in our own town

I came in to smash karaoke, I sang, Let if Go, I'd give myself 6 stars for the performance, to be honest.Staff told me I was good, so they deserve 5 stars alone.
