Lovely shop but could be a little bigger as is hard to get around. Quite expensive although they have alot of naughty treats :)

Alrighty then! A visit to hospital is never exactly a treat, even if it's only for a routine checkup, which was the case for me. One thing that I can guarantee to make a couple of hours spent at the Conquest less of a bummer is...*drum roll*...a 1066 Cafe sausage roll! Their baps, and sweet stuff is also damned good, but hey if I have to see the neurologist, give me the sausage meat in that yummy pastry and I'm a happy girl. Epilepsy never tasted better, guys.

Quite nice for a British cafe, but in winter it can be cold. They don’t seem to heat the place much.

I just went in for a hot drink and something to eat after my interview and as I got home to eat the carmel slice I noticed the date said use by 08/08/23 when today is 22/08/23. For a hospital I think this is terrible. Hope you get your staff to start checking dates!!

Nice cafe inside the hospital. I must say they are quite good compared to other hospital cafes. Helpful staff. Good menu.

Good selection of pastries, cakes and sandwiches available as well as the usual hot and cold drinks. As its sited in a hospital, I would have expected a few more healthy options. A few veg pots isn't good enough. Some gluten free, dairy free options would be good to have, especially for people staying in the hospital that have pretty restricted diets.
