Water Babies Bucks, Beds & Northants

I first heard about water babies whilst pregnant and just knew we had to sign up. As someone who only learnt to swim in my late teens, i still have low confidence in water. I did not want that for my son. Now on our 2nd course and my little boy is 5 1/2 months old. When we started he was just 9 weeks old! I have been at every lesson watching and I love what I have seen. My son has had some hiccups with being afraid sometimes but our teacher (Amanda) is amazing with him and has taken the time to try to give him the confidence needed by having time and breaks whenever he needs. He is now doing really well and really enjoying himself. We love the fact that the teacher did a bonding swim with them in early on lessons and how she really interacts with each and every baby and even learned all their names really quickly considering how many there are to remember. I love watching the babies having fun playing with toys, singing all sorts of songs bouncing and splashing and even baby surfing :) The activities included on the course have really helped my baby with playing at home too, with things such as co-ordination, reaching for objects... We will definitely be continuing on our water babies journey for as long as we possibly can and can't wait for future lessons. To watch our baby progress and learn this wonderful skill for life!I Highly recommended water babies for not only learning to swim but confidence and perhaps even more importantly for fun and bonding with your child in a safe and happy environment!!!!! :) :) :)

I have really enjoyed swimming with waterbabies, all three of my children love the water and this is thanks to their fantastic swimming teachers. My only challenge with waterbabies is they prioritise places for chapter one babies so if you are a working parent looking for classes on a weekend you will most probably be out of luck! Especially if you started as a chapter one on a week day class our recent experience is that the likely hood of being able to transfer to a weekend class at a later date is highly unlikely and therefore you will be left with the decision to have to move to another swim school at some point. Other than that they are fun to swim with.

Fantastic classes, fun and educational for baby and parent yes daddy’s are welcome too! Baby is so confident in the water unlike mummy who can’t swim, but will learn now! The teachers are super friendly and well educated on water safety. Don’t think twice sign up.

I Hhve been attending Waterbabies classes with my eldest since he was 9 weeks old. I can honestly say that this is the best activity to do with your child. Not only is it fun and exciting but helps bonding and a major bonus - provides your child with life saving skills. My son is now turning 4 at Christmas and will be graduating from Waterbabies in february - and has recently received his 15m swimming badge, which I can honestly say I find amazing. Something all down to our wonderful teacher Rosie and Waterbabies. We love it so much that we will be sending our newborn son to start swimming lessons in February! Thank you Waterbabies!!

Both my daughters have had weekly swim lessons with Waterbabies since they were 10 weeks old - lifesaving skills, underwater swimming and lots of singing and fun is the order of the day and even now we are told what fabulous swimmers we have - I really don't think they would have been without their Waterbabies lessons! It has been worth every penny :-)My eldest daughter finished her Waterbabies journey at 5 years old with a 100m badge and an ASA Stage 4 badge and my youngest isn't far off accomplishing this too! I would highly recommend all of the lovely, friendly teachers and very warm swimming pools!

Water babies has been part of our lives since my first child started at 12 weeks in 2013. She continued on untill April 2017 completing all chapters and has become a confident and accomplished swimmer.I have now started Water babies again with my 13 week old son to find the service and teaching, if possible, even better!It’s my favourite activity, lessons are clearly planned, fun, engaging and my son is gaining water confidence, skills for life and absolutely loves it!My teacher Teresa is kind, helpful and full of knowledge and tips to help me and my baby learn. She has a calming presence so even if he spends part of the session crying I feel calm and in control!The induction to sessions was seamless this time round. After calling to express interest in starting sessions I was given a full update and sent an information pack about my sessions with T’s&C’s. On our first day Jamie then met us at the pool 30 minutes before our session to talk the class through what will happen, how babies may react and to answer any questions. He also, to my delight, bought along a little goodie bag that included a lovely memory journal to update each week with stickers and information about my sons time at water babies and other goodies!Communication with the Waterbabies team has been outstanding, Iv never been left not understanding what’s happening, I’m consistently called back and even receive text message reminders.The service this team provide is like none Iv known and I would highly recommend to all that wish to teach their child a life skill and bond with them!I’m really grateful to this team for a wonderful experience

Stunned by how lovely the people at Water Babies are. I wanted to buy a gift voucher for a friend, and they not only put me together a physical gift voucher, but personally delivered it SAME DAY to my house! Not only that but they did it before they had even received payment as I'd entered my card details wrong, but seemingly cared more about making sure I had it for Christmas and trusted me to sort the payment. We've just started our 4th chapter with Water Babies and the difference in water confidence compared to when we started less than a year ago is astounding. Our daughter wasn't sure about swimming at first and developed the water wobbles a couple of months ago, but with fantastic support from the Water Babies team we've come out the other side and now our little girl is excited about getting in the water every week. Highly recommended.

We are starting our 3rd year with Water Babies and have gone from learning life saving skills for a baby to a toddler who can swim more than 10 metres comfortably. We have had a number of different teachers throughout our experience and have to say that every single one of them has helped to develop my daughters skills in different ways. I know many people think that baby swimming lessons can be expensive but I honestly don't think you can put a price on your child's safety in the water. We are huge Water Babies fans and can't praise them enough for what they have done for us and our family.
