Recently went for food here as it has recently got a new owner, amazing service very quick and very helpful. The food was amazing and didn’t have to wait too long either! The price of the food was also very good! Will definitely be returning!

Stopped here before boarding the ferry and I would absolutely highly recommend the food and ambience. The staff are fabulous and the food was excellent. We had different curries and vegetables. Best Indian I have had in a very long time. Very tasty and delicious. You will not be disappointed.

Taste was better than other indian restaurant in portsmouth . Staff is very friendly . Ambience is very good abd best for family and couples . Nice slow music. Neat and clean . Tables were very well kept ready for service .must try panner butter masala from here .

Don't waste your time and money by consuming food from this worthless restaurant. I had ordered a Chicken Biryani, the dish which was delivered wasn't biryani at all. It was just some under cooked chicken stuffed in Yellow rice. I have tried some other Indian restaurants around southsea, which decent in terms of portion and great in terms taste. But this one is the worst in all the aspects.

Fine restaurant. nicely decorated and friendly staff. unfortunately there are not many vegetarian dishes. The preparation of the food has a western influence which I think is a pitty original Indian cuisine is much tastier

We made a booking for 7.30 a party of 10 for my son’s 40 birthday.when arrived they said to take a seat as they were not ready to seat us, a few minutes later they seated us on the other side of the restaurant where they store there what they can’t place in there storage room. This was not our first time here and have always found it very pleasant with great food being served. But for some unknown reason the restaurant has a new owner and have to say that the standard of service along with the food has changed drastically. Inexperienced servers giving us other people’s main coarse even before we received our starters and challenge they promptly realised there mistake and cleared the table. Our starters eventually came and we’re fine then after a long wait the main coarse came out and all of the food was barely warm when we told the server he just disappeared not even the manager came to apologise. The whole experience totally ruined what was a great day celebrating my son birthday, there is no excuse for this type of treatment and we challenge the bill which they said had to be paid in full only offering 2 £20 vouchers for a return visit. Why not just take the £40 off the bill the manager gave his reasons for the poor quality of food and service by saying they were so busy and that the side of the restaurant that we were seated was part of the problem of the food being warm saying that the air conditioning made the food cold when being served to us. Absolutely absurd. Never will I or anyone from our party. Will return to this restaurant terrible terrible service food, barely warm for consumption.
