Just wanted to say I was served by a lady called Sarah today at the till, tall lady with blonde Bob hair cut- she was absolutely exceptional. Best service I’ve had in a long time- she deserves a raise! I hope her manager sees this and acts accordingly. Thank you Sarah

Popped in for a light brunch and chose avocado on toast with bacon. This item used to be made with sweet chilli sauce but the recipe has changed and the menu reflects that.My brunch tasted “Soapy” after a few bites and did not improve.I had a pot of tea and a sweet treat to finish of my brunch. About £10.30 all told.Next time I’ll skip the main and just have the sweet treat.

Such a shame that one ‘partner’ feels so grumpy towards anyone let alone customers.Bought a few items and went to the staffed checkout. “I’m closed” not the friendliest of greetings and not being telepathic, seeing someone at the till, I stupidly assumed they were open for business. As the checkouts have closed signs to help customers navigate the “are they open or are they closed” supermarket bingo - I think the ‘partner’ would be less bothered by annoying customers if they used the ‘closed signs’ provided. I’m now going to attend evening classes in reading minds and should I pop in to Waitrose in Ipswich again, I will be prepared for the next round of checkout roulette.

The atmosphere is good, spacious and the cafe is reasonably clean, the staff are friendly and polite but the food and drink are below average compared to Costa and for those reasons I wouldn’t want to recommend them. For the price paid you expect higher quality. The coffee I had most recently tasted almost like poison.

Called into Waitrose for a few groceries and respite in the cafe. There's not much to say really, quality is almost always on point, and customer service makes the mundane chore of grocery shopping more pleasurable!

my waitrose card wasn't working when I enquired why I was told that it was because I had not paid for my last shop essentially accusing me of being a thief. When I showed the girl my bank statement proving that I had in deed paid for my shopping no apology was offered being dismissed as a gliche in the system.Shame on you Waitrose as I feel a few simple checks when my card was red flagged could have saved me a great deal of embarrassment and the fear that maybe I was losing my mind and that perhaps I had in deed not paidA letter to the manager was similarly dismissed, Customer care clearly not of any importance

What can I say?, it's Waitrose. You get what you pay for, it beats the other supermarkets easily. The staff are really helpful, and friendly. The selection of produce is great, and the meats are excellent.

Enjoyable shopping experience. Waitrose stocks grocery items you cannot normally find in other places. First discovered paneer cheese here, now a number of supermarkets stock it. Lurpak was on special offer when I visited, cheaper than non branded butters. Staff always helpful.

I don’t know why but we developed a hankering for a big steak pie with chips and peas. As M&S were closer we went there (it was cold, dark and getting late). All they had was large chicken pies. We left and went to Waitrose. Got to the pie section and NO STEAK PIES. All they had was the chicken. A member of staff overheard us and recognised my ridiculous disappointment. He asked us to wait and went to check the store room. Voila! Out he came with exactly what I wanted. We then cruised around the rest of the store and ended up spending £100 on some fabulous foods and wine (shopping when you’re hungry). Ended up having a lovely Indian meal and the steak pie is in the fridge for tomorrow. One excellent member of staff saved a customer and increased the takings by giving some service. Well done Waitrose
