Damon's Hotel

As many people have said in previous reviews, the highlight of this hotel is the wonderful staff and how polite and helpful they are.It definitely has its quirks, but it doesn’t affect the quality of the stay in any capacity. Great value for money for a quick stop over.Would most definitely return.

We stopped over whilst in Lincoln to see pur Son. The hotel is very pleasant inside and rooms are clean and large.We didn't use the facilities so can't comment on those although we did have breakfast which was very nice.We have stopped in hotels closer to Lincoln city centre before but to be honest this was a nicer hotel and we will definitely book again next time we visit.

1st time ever staying here, staff was very helpful & friendly, only down side to the hole stay was that the beds are wayyyyy to soft & the shower well you've got more pressure when peeing & there's not such thing as hot water. But other than that fantastic

Ok, I rarely leave a scathing review.But my God this hotel literally teleported me back in time to a time that time should have forgotten...Very poor excuse for a hotel, I have no idea where the other reviewers stayed previously to rate this place so highly, must have been really bad given they have written such positive reviews on this hotel...While this place presents itself well from the outside, the inside is like a self built DIY project that has gone terribly wrong. Everything is outdated, the rooms are awful. The bed is however comfortable, but the room decor is years out of date, and while the rooms are a good size, the overall standard is very low, wood work is over painted with gloss paint. The room I stayed in had a sink in it, and I don't mean in the bathroom, the sink was next to the bed, literally, and the shower is awful, it was like a complete plastic pod, I would get wetter standing outside in the rain...Definitely looks as though that was installed in the 60's, as a good idea.This place needs complete renovation and updating, definitely the room I was provided and the general lobby area.I cannot recommend this place, the expense of this hotel does not justify the standard. The room genuinely felt like I was staying in a room run by Norman Bates...

Staff friendly and welcoming. Room clean and comfortable. Down side the shower had very low water pressure. Also could have done with 2 chairs rather than the stools

Hotel room was lovely. Very clean and had plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. Had an iron and ironing board, kettle with drink options and a hairdryer.Shower nice and big although struggled to turn the temperature down.Staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful.Only fault is it's a little bit out of the way of lincoln town centre. Overall fantastic experience.

Recent visit to Manchester.Had a stay over at Damon's Hotel and had a lovely meal at the restaurant again.This is our 4th visit.Brilliant place to stay.

Good size carpark make sure you enter your registration plate at receptionWarm friendly check in all info givenRoom was up a flight of stairsThe room was spaciousBathroom a good sizeBed was okWiFi goodBreakfast not includedShower hot and powerful BUT VERY VERY SLIPPERY!!!! Didn't feel safe whilst showering!Location on the outskirts of Lincoln next to their own American rib restaurant.Would stay again if in the area but get a bath mat if they supply them !

The top selling but has to be the friedliness & helpfulness of the staff, and excellent customer service. Rooms were good. Location was ok.
