What an amazing find in Holt, the staff are all so very friendly, welcoming and passionate about this business. We were a group of 4 who booked for the Sunday roast and it was great home cooked food, with lashings of veg, thick slices of meat and all served with a smile. Pudding was superb too. We're going to have to come back here on holiday again, just to have a slice of the stunning cakes and favourites in the fresh counter. Thank you to all at Horatio's your efforts were very much appreciated.

Only just found it! All this time l never knew of it! What a really nice place. Don't really want to tell anyone! Great food, happy cheery staff! If you want a laugh ask about the notice in the window!! Especially if your local like we are!!!!! Lol.

Have been here before and have found it very nice, but today it was extremely busy and it took nearly an hour to be served our soup, panini and jacket potato. When we came to pay the lady who took our money was very curt,chewed gum constantly didn't ask if we had enjoyed our meal and was basically rather brusque, therefore no tip and won't be back! We are local people.

Nice place , food was decent and fairly quick considering how busy they were only draw back was we got veggie breakfast and found out after we'd virtually finished that everything's cooked on the same grill etc despite this not being marked anywhere that we could see

It was friendly and cosy, and the food was hearty, if unspectacular. Pretty extensive range, including some gluten-free options too (though worth noting items fried/grilled items are cooked in a shared grill). There's a handful of outdoor chairs and tables available too.

Lovely little cosy cafe in Holt. Warm welcome soon as you walk in. Toasties were great with decent amount of salad, crisps and pickle. Awesome cake too. We always come here when visiting Holt

Lovely cafe in Holt for lunch. Really wide range of choices on the menu and, for Holt, quite reasonable priced. Service was fast and friendly. Food tasted fresh and of great quality with well sized portions. Would recommend the Brie and bacon panini - delicious.Only dropped a star as we went in quite late and so it was only us and one other table in there which were right next to us. Without any music etc felt a bit like had to whisper but i’m sure that’s just the time we went in!
