Reception staff on arrival were extremely welcoming and very helpful and gave us a lot of information. The Iron Grill bar and restaurant was lovely. Food was fantastic and I would like to say Carly and Holly in the bar were so friendly and accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. They made our visit very enjoyable. The room we stayed in was very clean and relaxing. Definitely would come back here again. Thank you to everyone in the Delta Hotels by Marriott

Good hotel, but sadly the pool and leisure centre let it down badly. Location is handy and plenty of parking. The room was large and clean and the breakfast and dinner were good. Sadly though the swimming pool was terrible, the water actually tasted sweaty and salty and the bottom of the pool was gritty and dirty underfoot. There were signs everywhere to shower before swimming but actually you feel a greater need to scrub yourself after you get out. The whole leisure centre feels like it needs a real deep clean and freshen up and sort out the water filtration system. It's a real shame as that experience spoiled what was otherwise a good stay.

We came here for a business. Drove 4 hours from London. We checked in and the room coffee area was extremely dusty. Jamie the duty manager quickly assist us and literally turned around our experience to the best. He sent a house keeper immediately to clean the room and offered us complimentary drinks along with our meals which made us to dine in at the Bar and Grill restaurant . Carly, the waitress was so lovely, happy and so welcoming. She made sure our dining in experience was memorable. Once again, thanks Jamie for providing the complimentary drinks and 50% off on the breakfast. You literally made us feel comfortable and important.

Rooms a bit dated, but clean and comfortable with a nice cold fridge.Food - 4/10. Not because it wasn’t enjoyable. But purely because when I ordered a rump steak, I expected a rump steak. Not a minute steak. It was +/- 5mm thick. I hasten to add that it was £18. So not expensive so I’d suggest charging more and delivering what the customer expects.But all and all a most pleasant stay.Thanks to the friendly staff.

The skirting board in the room was missing; showing a lot of dust and dirt. The breakfast was poor.We had a meal in the restaurant which was awful.I have stayed in lots of other Marriott hotels and I have always been really happy. I would not stay here again.

lovely hotel as expected, pleasant staff, but don't buy alcohol there. £8.50 for a bottle of old mout cider and £7 for a pint of Stella and they didn't even wear masks.

The room was spacious and clean. Good water pressure in the shower.You have to ask if you want the room cleaned and fresh towels daily.The hotel looks like it is recently refurbished. Plenty of parking.Staff very friendly. Disappointing menu for the bar and restaurant. Limited options if you are vegan.

Here on business so booked a deluxe room. Very spacious and well kitted out, including a fridge. Beds very comfy, pillows decent and had a good night's sleep on both nights. Comfy desk chair but the desk itself wasn't the most comfortable to work at. The glass top also meant my optical mouse wouldn't work. Bathroom was very spacious. Supplied shower gels and shampoos smelled amazing. Just a shame that most hotels nowadays insist on dark 'mood' lighting. Staff were friendly and efficient. Parking not the greatest: narrow spaces and small gaps between opposite rows.

I will preempt this review by saying that this event was likely a once in a lifetime experience. Anyway, I booked a room here as it was highly reviewed and seemed like a lovely hotel to spend some time with the wife at. However, when we walked into the room we were disgusted by what we found. To our horror, there was a naked man wearing only a santa hat shuddering in the corner murmuring that the room was his. As anyone in their right mind would we quickly left the room and shut the door to go and report this incident. However, when we returned to the room the man was missing and could not be found. The hotel staff did not believe us even though me and my wife were both adamant we saw this man and even took a picture of the man to show them. I have attached this picture and urge anyone that sees this man to contact me as I am trying to track down the culprit.

It's a lovely hotel with excellent facilities in a great location, but don't even think of coming here if you have allergies.My sister has had a nut allergy all her life. It's quite simple - if the food contains nuts or has been cooked in nut oil, then this is bad. If the item has been prepared in a factory that uses nuts"
