Linn of Dee Car Park
Amazing place. Check all paths around. Everywhere you go is spectacular. There is a big car park which belongs to the National Trust of Scotland. You can pay by card. Toilets are available.

Linn Of Dee car park, also the car park for Mar Lodge Estate, Scottish National Trust owned, so there is a fee unless you’re a member.There was a ranger on site and she recommended a route to see as much as possible. We followed the trail along the river and then turned left uphill along a path next to another stream, passing a salmon ladder as we went.Very pretty area, recommended. Just a shame it was a bit confusing about where to come as there are several Mar Lodges on Google maps

Don't just stop at the main car park by the bridge, keep going down the single track road past the stunning Marr Lodge to the bottom car park for more stunning walks down by the water

Several really beautiful walk or a wild swim. Amazing views and £3 parking for the day or night if in a Camper.

Linn of Dee Car Park
I was lucky to have a wonderful sunny day here. The hike I did was circular, first up to the forest, then the path takes you to the smaller of two rivers...The smaller river was my favourite bit of the trip, there are some suitable locations to go in the water, it's worth it, so take a swimming suit with you and enjoy this beautiful location!

Excellent car park, I found a space easily and spent the night. 24 hour parking cost £3. I climbed Ben Macdui from here. A beautiful place and a lovely scenic walk. Plenty of places around to camp.

Lovely walks, we did the 1.75 mile one (blue) Good paths and a mix of riverside with waterfalls and woodland. Lovely.Car park good (national trust charges). There are toilets
