An excellent meal food delicious and very good service today. Really enjoyed it all. Please put a notice by the dish of pebbles on the table by the desk. My husband thought they were chocolates and tried to eat one! A child could choke on one.

Excellent restaurant serving excellent food by friendly efficient staff. Booked Christmas lunch for the family again this year after keeping an eye on the website for the Xmas menu's appearance. All booked and family looking forward to another great meal.

Can't thank Carol and her wonderful staff enough for making our family Christmas lunch so enjoyable. The table really had the 'wow' factor with the white linen, red napkins and candelabra adorned with crystals and festive red candles. Despite being the very last dinners the food was plentiful and beautifully cooked and the service was excellent. We were given time to enjoy each course and did not feel rushed in any way. Many thanks to you all.

Appalling customer service, after having Christmas Day lunch booked since May the Chef/owner has decided he can’t be bothered to cater for 3 vegans so has cancelled our booking. At £95 per head that’s the kind of service the customers get here. Very obnoxious man who is obviously not interested in his customers at all. Our Christmas Day now ruined as too late to book elsewhere. Avoid at all costsEdit: Oh and I have been to your restaurant twice previously actually…maybe reflect on how you deal with customers in future

Although the food was quick to be served, I found it odd that the food had to be ordered from the bar area. The club also tried to overcharge and took several attempts to get the bill correct for our party. Service was ok but not amazing. The food was good for the price ( our party went for mother's Day lunch). Could definitely improve in some areas.

Booked here for Christmas Day several months ago, was told they’d send us out a menu around August time which they didn’t, so rang today to enquire and was met firstly with staff that seemingly didn’t know what to do, then finally the chef/manager Chris got back to us and basically spoke to us like we were stupid, then when told we weren’t very impressed he simply said we’ll have your money back then! Absolutely shocking to be treated like this in December when there is now no possibility of booking anywhere else! I appreciate at times the customer isn’t always right, but to be met with ignorance, arrogance and a couldn’t give a damn attitude, I'm afraid in this instance the customer is right, and Chris? Is very very wrong! He clearly has so much business that he can meet any enquiry with ‘we’ll go somewhere else then’!Well Chris, I’m going to do whatever I can (word of mouth wise) to damage your business, you deserve nothing less! And as a local business owner with 3000+ social media followers in your catchment area, believe me, damage it I will!You seriously need lessons in customer service!I would urge anybody to avoid this man’s restaurant like the plague, and show him that without the very people that put the money into his pocket, life is very different.Happy Christmas to you, I hope your ovens break down on Christmas Eve, you really do deserve it!Edit - The reply just shows the arrogance and ignorance of this man. You were told a review was coming, there is no threat, I’m going to shout from the rooftops about how shocking your customer service is, I think I’m allowed to do that! There’s more than enough reviews saying how obnoxious you are for people to know it’s genuine!Bottom line Chris, if you don’t want negative reviews, don’t talk to your customers like dirt!
