Shireburn Arms Hotel & Restaurant
Just been to a wedding here over the weekend. Brilliant venue and such a lovely setting! The wedding hosts were great and the function room was brilliant. Bar staff were very busy as you can imagine but were great also. The rooms were plenty big enough and very clean. We had breakfast the next morning which was good, choice of cooked breakfast or cereal with tea and coffee or juice. Great time had by all and would recommend for any function.

We had our wedding here in July and the whole experience couldn’t have been any better! We ate here a couple of times prior to the wedding and the service and food was amazing. On the day, the staff were amazing, the food was delicious and the whole place just felt like a home away from home! Any issues on the day were dealt with quickly and without a fuss. All the guests commented on what a cosy venue it was and how FANTASTIC the food & service was. I couldn’t recommend The Shireburn enough! It made our wedding day unforgettable.I can’t wait to stay/ eat here again! Already looking to book again. Thank you to the whole Shireburn teams!!Lots of love, Lois & Ben xx

Beautiful location, gorgeous surrounding views, decent sized car park, plenty of tables and dogs welcome. Unfortunately awful service. Staff stood around chatting ignoring our table. We waited a good 30 mins before someone finally came to take our food order. I personally went to the bar to let them know we were ready to place our order after 20 minutes of waiting, the lady rolled her eyes and snapped yeah in 1 minute"

What a great place to stay and catch up with friends. Staff very attentive couldn't fault them. Food was first class all four of our meal choices were excellent. Already looking forward to coming back to this gem of a place

Our first visit and what a great night! Bar staff were very welcoming as soon as we arrived. We had a choice of tables near the bar area. Food was beautiful. I had the Ribeye, which was done to perfection and my wife had the Chicken. Everything was packed with flavour and the service was a great balance of being aware, without pestering. We're planning on going back again for a nice treat.

I had the fish and chips, sadly there was more batter than fish and the mushy peas looked 3 days old and were cold. My partner got the steak and ale pie however the pie was burn and completely tasteless inside looking more like dried clustered meat on the inside. We asked for a table for 2 plus a pram and booked in advance and was squeezed on a 2 person table crammed up to a table of 6 with the pram touching the people on the other table. The young waiting on staff don’t smile either when putting your cutlery out. I had high expectations after reading these reviews but was thoroughly disappointed.

Only spent a night there but really liked it, lovely room and the staff were very nice. Loved the breakfast, very tasty. .Looked an Ideal place for a wedding which they do have there .

Shireburn Arms Hotel & Restaurant
Beautiful proper pub, lovely beer garden. Food is a tad overpriced but probably due to the only pub in the village captive audience tactic but was good food, beer selection not very good, couple of bog standard lagers and two of the local beers which tasted pretty much the same. Staff were really nice and friendly and chatty which is always a plus. Been visiting for 3 years and will be back again next year.
