I went to this store on June 4th and bought a face serum (Loreal Revitalift Serum). The price was £12.99 but was on offer for £9 with Boots Advantage card in store. Hassan (an employee) was at the till, charged me the full amount. When I reminded him, it was on offer and that why was I charged the full amount, he got rude and said he cannot keep track of every offer in store, and that he cannot do anything about it. A female employee also came and when I pointed out the same thing to her, she said she also cannot do anything about it as the system wasn't updated. This Hassan guy is the most unprofessional person I've ever seen, as he clearly needs to learn some basic speaking manners. I wonder how many people have been charged the full amount, despite the product being on offer in store. Can the store manager take notice of this.

Yet again a terrible experience. Not only do they never have my prescription, but they also charged me again for something I’ve paid for. The manager seemed so kind and patient and once I had dealt with her I felt okay. That was until the pharmacist piped up and decided to come over and patronise me. I cannot believe the was she spoke to me, as a human being, and as a customer - in front of everyone else waiting. I felt humiliated and embarrassed and of course it turned out I was never in the wrong and it was their error (shock) but still not resolved - nor an apology for her attitude. I have walked away paying twice, being belittled and hoping to never have to return. I would rather drive further out to a respectable pharmacy that cares about their customers than have to interact with that ignorant pharmacist once more.In addition it’s worth noting the online doctor service is extremely poor. The prescriptions are rarely dispatched and after numerous visits to the pharmacy for something that has never been sent I have wasted time and put my health at risk in the process.Horrendous service across the board.

I had one terrible experience in the pharmacy section. On a Thursday I went in with a prescription. The pharmacist told me they only had a few of the tablet and I can come back tomorrow to collect the rest. I went in the day after and they told me that their delivery did not arrive today so come back tomorrow. Went back on Saturday and the lady told me their delivery has just arrived and they need 1h to sort them, so told me to wait or come back tomorrow. Went back again on Sunday and they told me they do these things only during the week.

Pharmacy staff most unhelpful. Customer service goes down the hill month on month. Have been with them for years, but the latest visit was so upsetting that I left the pharmacy shaken. No compassion whatsoever. Would love to switch but this is the closest to home.

This is a very busy store and it is not surprising that I can never contact the pharmacy by telephone. People caring for others need to confirm the availability of a prescription, especially when a visit to the shop will require a stand in carer to take over the care duty. I believe it would be better if Boots Summertown were to replace their offered telephone contact with an ability to email or text a query to the Boots Shop Pharmacy.

Terrible pharmacy - never pick up the phone no matter what time of day you’re calling, the pharmacist doesn’t seem to show up on time as very often there will be a sign on the door in the morning saying they are unable to open as there is no pharmacist present at all. If you’re able to get in the shop they are extremely slow to process a prescription, meaning you either have to wait 20 minutes or so or return later on. This is extremely difficult if you have anywhere to be on time, and often means it is a whole-day endeavour to pick up a prescription. It should not be this difficult.

A poor pharmacy which doesn't seem to understand the first thing about customer service. The staff are not friendly and sometimes downright rude. There is often a sign saying the pharmacist is on lunch break for an hour and this seems to be quite literally a moveable feast as it's often pretty random times. I only go because it's a 10 minute walk from my house and I alternate with Rowlands which is pretty bad too. Best to avoid.

Not the best boots as everything is slow and communication is difficult. However, not the worst either.

I tried to collect a prescription at 1:30 pm, however, I was told by somebody behind the pharmacy counter that the pharmacist was on lunch, and would return at 2:10 pm. I then returned at 5:45 pm to collect the prescription, only to be served by the same individual. Perhaps the store should publicise the lunchtimes of its pharmacy staff on its website to avoid wasted customer journeys. On a more positive note, I received some excellent advice regarding a medical issue some months ago.
