Calow Community Centre

Lovely big rooms. Good facilities

Went here for small family celebration recently. Ideal location as at end of a road so no passing traffic, large car park with some disabled spaces near entrance door, disabled friendly entrance into large foyer area. Toilets, kitchen with hatch and plenty of preparation area, coat hanging rail in foyer leading to small but adequate hall for mist venues.

A good time was had by most there.

I regularly use this venue for a community group. It is a Beautifully clean venue with a Great option of space. It has very Attentive staff who make bookings easy. It is always exceptionally clean. We get use of the kitchen which is well stocked with equipment. Hot water is readily available too. There is ample free secure parking on site and the venue is easily accessible for people of all abilities. It is a hidden gem within Calow at Chesterfield. The hourly booking price is very reasonable too. We hope to continue using this for a very long time.

Brilliant place for a party, fantastic facilities and extremely clean. Ample car parking and a great space.

Well kept, clean, good sized rooms and amenities. Excellent for parties etc. Many activities are held here

We went to the Christmas fayre,fab stalls, everyone was so friendly,both large rooms filled will a variety of stalls,and I know they have events on every week as my mil goes to an art class there

My 7 year old son was playing football on a Saturday morning on the grass adjacent to the centre. The care taker came out and was extremely abusive and stated he would call police as it is private land!! My son was extremely upset and burst into tears and when my husband confronted the caretaker he puffed out his chest and stated HE DIDN'T CARE". Absolutely disgusted by this and his attitude. If he had been polite or apologised I wouldn't have minded as much. No community or Christmas spirit and quite frankly would never spend my money here out of principal due to the people they let "care" for it. If they are so against children and football this should be clearly signposted and should not be named a "community centre" very disappointed parent and member of the so called "community"."

Great little resource for the local community which we rarely make use of. Our daughter goes to the kickboxing lessons there once a week. Would be great for holding a party or disco for kids!
