Not at all like basic NHS treatment. I had a pet scan and the whole department was easily equivalent to a private healhcare facility, especially Alvin and Ray who really had their work cut-out with me.

Good help from the Hospital at Home team.

There is a convenient parking called Car park A in front. Though can get full and you just need to go to the next.

The maternity ward here is brilliant

Manic!! Parking is a nightmare, three quarters of an hour just to get into the car park. £3.10 even if you stay for 5 minutes. Staff shortages and nurses and doctors have work overload. Blame this government.

When my woman was giving birth, she was in terrible pain, and when she asked for anesthesia, she was given some pseudo-painkillers that did not help. Only when she received epidural anesthesia did she feel relief, but she got it after several hours of unimaginable pain. During the entire stay, they offered her one meal only before birth, and nothing after that. When they moved us to other rooms, some of her things were lost. When we asked for it, no one was able to help us. After giving birth, she was moved to a room with other mothers and children where it was 26 degrees (the thermometer was on the wall). It was probably a big incubator. When I wanted to stay and take care of the baby and the baby's mother because she was exhausted, I was asked to leave because visiting time was over and I was told that the midwives would take care of her because it was their job. What they didn't do was just make up some excuses. Generally, nice people work there, but they don't take care of people very well. Perhaps our expectations were too high because we come from another country and our situation is different, but I thought that such a well-developed country as the United Kingdom had a much better health service. I am disappointed, don't have children, don't get sick, don't have accidents because you may regret the help you received. And one more thing, the hospital parking lot is a joke.

Maternity/delivery experience amazing from the moment i entered the delivery suite everything was perfect. Wonderful staff. Made me feel so comfortable and i was so well cated for. If i could give a thousand stars i would.....

They need to improve the management of smoking as people smoke right next to the no smoking sign
