Rang ahead to arrange an appointment to pick up my sons glasses. Gave his date of birth over the phone. Was told when we arrived it wasn’t possible as he’s under the age of 16 and needs a optician present, which there wasn’t.

First time using this opticians and wasn’t disappointed. Great appointment availability, friendly faces as soon as you walk through the door and very efficient. Would like to mention Kim particularly who fitted my glasses with ease and made the whole experience enjoyable. My glasses also came extremely quickly; eye test on Monday and frames I’d picked were there for me to pick up by Thursday and appointment available Friday. Incredible! Thank you.

Great opticians. My appointment was on time. The staff that I dealt with explained each test and put me at ease.I needed 3 pairs of glasses as I have 3 different prescriptions. I had one frame reglazed with my new prescription. The other prescription I needed Elliott was amazing at showing me frames that met my budget.I called back a few weeks later to have my third prescription glasses made, same frames and I placed my order over the phone.Collection of my glasses was quick.I received a text to let me know that my glasses were ready. I called and had an appointment the same day to collect them.Easy to park which is a bonus too.

An audiologist told me to get a hearing test done due to possible tinnitus. Had the test and he said he was going to send the report to me to give a copy to my gp 6 weeks later still hasn't arrived. Following report to specsavers on line complaints nothing has happened as of 14 July.

I have used specsavers at oakwood for a number of years and have always been satisfied with the process. This time though there was a little blip as they sent the wrong coloured frames, but I'm happy with them. Fitting felt a little rushed. But overall a a good experience.

Had my eyes tested on September 19th and was told I needed yag laser treatment on my right eye. Received a phone call on September 21st from Newmedica to make appointment for September 29th to have the treatment. i had the treatment on September 29th with in minutes I could see perfectly. WHAT A SERVICE can't thank you enough

I have have been at this store a few years now and the reception I get when entering is even better than it was the first time, even though the first time was extremely satisfying. They are a wonderful team here and have time for you which is rare to see these days. Couldn't praise them enough.

Went in to adjust glasses but they've messed up my lenses. They have been warming up the the frame and destroyed coating with heat or something. Now I need new glasses because these ones looks like scratched or got spider web on them and it affects my vision
