Just a brief note to thank Glenn and his team for arranging my Mums funeral recently. They were thoroughly professional throughout and Glenn exceptionally helpful in organising everything for us. As for most people this was an very emotional period and Glen helped us through.

This review is based around one of the Funeral directors Glen Timmins from this branch conducting a funeral for us at Lawrence's in Halifax.For some reason or other it seems strange leaving a review for a funeral home, however I feel its important now more thank ever in the world of technology we live in.From the moment that we made contact with Lawrence's and the team we felt that as a family we and our late mother were treat with the upmost respect care and dignity throughout, right from the first meeting with Glen to discuss the details of the day and mums details while she was in there care from the day itself Glen and the team did the most amazing job with no detail left unturned, on the day itself the weather wasn't the best but this didn't stop the team from making sure that mum went on her journey in style, Glen leading the cars and the drivers doing a sterling job. Thank you everyone at such a difficult you did us proud. Hegney family.

We have used williams and son for many generations you have never failed to surpass our expectations, with new ownership we didn't know what to fully expect but we didn't have to worry. Your compassion respect and service were second to none. Abig thank you too for the member of staff who held my phone for a live stream so family abroad could be present even your coverage was dignified. Thank you for making my nans last journey so memorable

The service which we received from you for my Sisters funeral was impeccable. Laura is so professional and compassionate, we couldn't have had better. Christian Caroe, Laura had recommended was excellent.Thank you once again, and we would highly recommend your company.

As a family we couldn't of chose a better funeral directors the support and compassion we were shown throughout was outstanding laura was amazing helping us through a very difficult time.They ensured my brothers dignity was maintained till the end we could never thank them enough.

From first contact to final interment of Ashes. Andy and the staff where first class. They were very compassionate at Chapel of rest visits. Andy helped us ensure that our dad’s funeral was everything we wanted it to be. The Order of service was multi-page and well presented with our favourite photos. They church and crematorium services where exactly as we wanted them to be. Finally, weeks later, our dad’s ashes, were placed to rest, in the cemetery with our Mum. We have recently used W. Williams & son in Little Sutton. From the moment we made contact the staff were nothing but caring, considerate and respectful all through the funeral arrangements for our dad. Nothing was too much trouble and the comfort and caring they gave meant so much at such a sad time. Each and every member of staff is a credit to the company as you could truly feel the care and passion they felt about making our dad's final journey personal to us. I would highly recommend this company if anyone wants the stress of this sad time lifting just a little bit. Thank you again for all you did for our dad.

All of the staff that I came into contact with were outstanding, genuine, respectful and caring. They helped in every single way they could and went above all obligations they may have for me and my family and most importantly my Dad.Unfortunately, my Dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour on the 25th September 2019 and we lost him on the 29th November 2019 at just 59. We cared for him at home and he passed in peace and love with us.I never thought I would ever have to speak and arrange anything whilst my Dad was still alive, but as he was at home with us when the time came we knew we would need someone to call. I spoke with Rob who shares the same name as my Dad and he was amazing and so kind and caring to my situation. He even said I hope to not hear from you for years and years to come, and that, at that time was a wonderful thing for me to hear. I was advised of what I needed to do should the time come and didn't feel so alone and scared.When the time came, we met Mark for the first time and he was an absolute gentleman, so respectful to my Dad and I knew he cared and he looked after him and I trusted him and knew my Dad would have liked him too.Kate the lady in the office was fabulous, she was honest and answered all questions truthfully. My Dad was such an amazing character such a nice, kind and gentle soul, always happy and laughing and she helped us in giving him exactly the funeral service that he deserved. (She also has a beautiful telephone voice!).The lady who looked after my Dad, please forgive me if I'm wrong I'm sure it was Sue, she spoke to me so kindly when I called to see how he was. She looked after my Dad and washed his hair, he loved being pampered, she went to extreme lengths to make sure he was looked after and I will never forget what you did for me, she even played the Beatles for him when she learned how much he loved music and Dad would have loved that.I cannot thank you all enough for everything you did for us, If I could give more stars then I would, amazing team of dedicated compassionate staff. The only people I would have trusted with my beautiful Dad.
