Mole Country Stores - Wickham

The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Dogs are welcome, too. Lots of products in store, I managed to get what I wanted and more.

Loads of choice for pet feed and outdoor clothing and fencing etc great staff and great store.

I urgently needed a particular poultry food, as it was a Sunday and it was a 45 min drive away and this Mole RARELY has anything in stock I called to check they had it and was assured they did and that she would put 1 aside with a note on it.When I arrived to pick up and pay the 2 girls told me they had non and were dismissive and rude, another chap was there from the warehouse who was the same and also attempted to intimidate me. They were so unhelpful it was shocking, no explanation, no attempt to help at all, no alternative just 'we dont have it' I was extremely frustrated as I had checked before driving so far.In the car park calling other stores I happened to meet the manager who to be fair was more helpful but said that he was aware I had been told there was a sack when there was not!!! That would suggest that his staff also knew so there was a concious decision to be rude and unhelpful. WHAT !!!!Interestingly I was on the phone to Winchester Mole whilst talking to him and the nice lady there actually went out to the warehouse to check if they had any, not just telling me they had!!!!!!I have been in touch with the manager since who was and has been helpful and apologetic but I was so disgusted with the staff that I made the decision to not return to the store.On that Sunday, Botley Mills just up the road had what I was looking for and the service from them since that day has been what you would expect from customer facing staff.

A very few items. Small and couldn't find what u need. Seemed slightly expensive.

The staff were amazing and very friendly . They was very helpful and assisted without hesitation. Cannot Thank them enough for the support they offered.
