Just got back from having a Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, so well cooked. Staff friendly and attentive. 3 courses was £17.99 so a brilliant price, would recommend

1st time here visiting with friends midweek. It wasn't very busy but it had a welcoming atmosphere and the staff were friendly. I had coffee which was good but could have been a bigger cup in my opinion or offer refills. I had lasagne and chips, they were hot and crispy and the lasagne was really good too. Would definitely come back, I'm deducting a star purely because the light over our table had cobwebs.

Niamh was our server whilst we played pool at this pub. She is a fabulous server who is always smiling and has a heart of gold. I appreciate her being so kind to us through our visits here.

We had a large table booking for a birthday party and it was lovely all round. The staff was very helpful and polite. A big thankyou to the Chef as everybody really enjoyed their food without a single bad word. It was extremely hot that day and even with the conditioned they nailed the food!! Will definitely return again in the future.

Excellent Christmas meal out for 12 of us. All meals were fantastic. Very tasty and good portions. 3 courses fo £17.99 Excellent value for money. All staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommend.

Booked a Christmas get together for our neighbours - many of whom hadn't actually met properly before and chose the Longwood based on location and budget. Everyone had a great time - all food came out together (for all 15 of us) and was hot and tasty - and the staff couldn't do enough to make sure we were looked after. Special mention for Natalie who was a star from start to finish - and I would recommend the Longwood to anyone who wants a decent get together in a very reasonably priced environment and decent quality food. 10/10

Before the event, there was several phone calls about the pre-order, which still wasn’t correct on the day, though it didn’t cause an issue, it shouldn’t warrant the planner chasing the coordinator. Our table wasn’t ready, though we were the only ones in the establishment. Though the food was hot & tasty there were no pigs in blankets or stuffing on anyone’s plate!!!

Excellent food which was served nice and hot. Sadly the pub heating was not on and some of us were so cold we were wearing our coats. The food became very cold very quickly. The pub had few customers but the wait between courses was ridiculous. Its a shame as the food itself started off well presented and hot. Price was also good value. They been to put the heating on and get service better organised.
