Alexanders are superb! A really brilliant, kind, hard-working team who sorted us out over our 2 day move last weekend. And in the London heat! Honestly, they couldn't have been nicer. I highly, highly, highly recommend them.

If you are looking for a removals company - look no further!! This company is literally the best! We moved 2 weeks ago from South London to Hemel Hempstead and the whole process was so smooth. From the initial consultation to the move day, we wouldn't have done it any other way! These guys were quick to move things, it took the stress out of the move completely! They were so fast dissembling and assembling furniture, it was like magic! I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

Really impressed with Alexanders, who managed our move within London. It was during a heatwave, but they were super-efficient, professional and friendly throughout the packing, loading and unloading. They are not the cheapest, but everything was managed very well, everything arrived safely, and they were responsive in terms of then coming to collect our empty boxes. The last time we moved using a different outfit, we paid a lot less, and ended up with a mark on the floor, a mark on a piece of furniture, and a couple of things missing. In my view, it was worth paying extra for Alexanders.

Their heart is in the right place but the high rating and premium pricing is misplaced. The people were kind and courteous.In the physical inspection we were assured the company was going to take down all the paintings and wall mounts etc and fill and paint holes, but that was never done. Fortunately, we had anticipated this and asked our own handyman to come in.What we did not anticipate was the packing experience. The boxes packed were not numbered or labeled with inventory. The packing order was strange, for example TV's were not packed with their brackets or power cables or remotes - so there was no way of setting them up - which was a paid for service. The computer was packed without its power cord, which was in an undefined box. The sofa was packed without its legs.As a result, the TV's couldn't be put up in the new location, a wall unit was set up but without all its shelving, the gym machine that was dismantled was never reassembled.Naming conventions changed over the course of the three-day pack and move, so on the last day boxes arrived with a 'B3' label, which we didn't know what to do with, because in the pre-agreed labelling for each room, nothing was defined as 'B3'.On the first day, the team that arrived was understaffed and left in half a day because it ran out of packaging material. Subsequently, a rather disconcerting message from the surveyor said the company had not factored packing the kitchen even though the quote itself had a listing of kitchen items and boxes allocated to it. Thankfully, the written quote was respected and more packers were allocated to the job.Overall, the nearly 20% or so premium we paid over the other removal company we received a quote from felt unjustified.

We have been very pleased with the service received from Alexanders. From the initial survey which was done via video call, to liaising with the move manager, through to moving day, everything went smoothly without any issues. I had considered 3 companies for our move, very glad I chose Alexanders. An efficient and reliable company.

Alexanders were brilliant from start to finish, from Lisa’s first visit to scope the task (whole house move across London) to the final box being unloaded – and beyond as they arranged storage for items for which we didn’t have room. Extremely helpful – nothing was too much trouble. Great attention to detail. Very flexible as our needs evolved. The team of packers/movers worked hard, were cheerful and did everything right. Moving house is definitely not fun but Alexanders took a lot of the stress out of it. Highly recommended

Alexanders have always gone above and beyond.First I used them for storage between homes and they couldn't do enough to give me excellent access to my belongings and super convenient with a seamless move of my furniture into my new home.Then they moved my business, they made a stressful time almost relaxing. Brilliantly efficient, super fast service all reasonably priced. If you want to take some of the stress out of moving or storage, Alexanders is your answer.

Alexanders' quote for our move was not the cheapest but it was competitive. The estimator who came to see us was friendly and helpful and thorough, so from the start we had confidence in the company. We couldn't give them a firm date immediately, but this wasn't a problem, and once we were able to confirm our move date they couldn't have been more helpful.We were assigned a move manager who kept us in touch with plans for the day itself and she answered all our queries. On the day she kept us informed about our move crew's arrival time.The crew were fantastic, they were really nice guys and took great care to ensure that everything was properly packed (we had the full packing service) and transported to their van. We were so impressed by how hard they worked. The same team delivered our things the following day to the storage unit we'd booked (we were not moving into another property immediately) and again worked hard to get everything packed away efficiently, and in a way that would make access easy for us.On the basis of our experience we strongly recommend Alexanders. What could have been a stressful couple of days was straightforward because of their efficient service.

Really good experience with Jameson and Geoffrey last week. They looked after our things really well, you could see they cared, and they were lovely guys as well. It was a pleasure to have them around for the day. They were also very prompt to arrive and efficient throughout. The price I got wasn't the cheapest quote, but we honestly believe it was worth a bit extra money because it was such a good experience and we knew quickly we could trust them.
