Turned up hours late which according to the other patients waiting to see him was a routine occurrence. Consultation lasted 5 mins at a charge of £250. Wouldn't recommend

Couldn’t fault his care at all. Dr Pickersgill was the first one query endometriosis. I have just undergone surgery with him and could not be happier with the level of care and empathy. Honestly life changing, could not recommend enough.

Absolutely disgusting service!If you have issues with FIBROIDS then DO NOT approach DR Andrew Pickersgill with the hope of getting them treated and resolved in some way. He essentially sold us a COMPLETE AND UTTER LIE, and the money we handed over for services received was a borderline SCAM.Before I continue I should like to state that I am writing this review on behalf of my wife who has given me full permission to do so, simply because I write better English and we really want to get our point across.First I contacted Dr Pickersgill’s secretary to ensure that were we to pay £250 for a consultation that we could then see the whole process through with the same doctor from start to finish; diagnosis, treatment and resolution. We were told that indeed that would be the case.So six months ago from the time of now writing this my wife had a 20 minute zoom interview with DR Pickersgill. He said that he wouldn’t treat her himself, for whatever reason, but he would have a colleague contact her to discuss treatment options. Fair enough, we thought.A month passed and nobody contacted us, so I contacted his secretary. She apologised and said she would look into the matter.Another month passed. No contact.I have since complained to Spire health care who I contacted him through and they said they would investigate the situation.We could not actually believe it when we received an email within a few days of sending the complaint from another DR, the colleague of Dr Andrew Pickersgill, saying that he would treat us, but first we would have to have another initial consultation at a cost of £250.DISGUSTED!!!! Didn’t even come close to how me and my wife felt.At this point they were just UNASHAMEDLY RIPPING US OFF!!!!£500 OUT OF POCKET WITH ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN RETURN. That’s what we would have been if we’d have decided to see that particular consultant. So as it was we raised this development with the complaints officer who never replied to us. A month later he still HAS NOT replied and I have sent another email since.So now it is over 6 months since that initial consultation and we have nothing to show for it and have heard nothing from the complaints department.PATHETIC that they would treat people like this.Me and my wife would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND contacting DR Andrew Pickersgill if you are needing treatment for fibroids. Go Elsewhere, because he happily took £250 off us for a 20 minute zoom interview and then left us hanging.To sum up I would say DISGUSTING, EMBARRASSING and PATHETIC service. Not to be trusted.Find a different Doctor because Dr Andrew Pickersgill is seriously lacking in honesty and morals.

I have been under the care of Andrew Peckersgill for circa 6 years and cannot fault anything about his care, approach or knowledge. In my humble opinion, Andrew is a true expert in treating complex and rare gynaecological issues that other gynaecologists may not be familiar with.During my first consultation, Andrew listened and validated every one of my symptoms. He never dismissed me or questioned my pain like the consultants at the NHS hospitals in Warrington and St Helens. Andrew performed a number of scans and when the scans did not show much, he recommended laparoscopic surgery. The surgery revealed isthmocele (cesarean scar defect) and severe endometriosis, which Andrew has treated successfully. I have consulted Andrew about a couple of unrelated gynaecological issues circa 2 years after the surgery and he was nothing by helpful again.In my eyes, Andrew will always be an angel / a miracle worker who has made my pain go away! Words cannot describe how grateful I am and always will be! Thanks to Andrew, I have been pain free for 5 years now!
