Visited for drinks on bank holiday Saturday when we sat outside enjoying the sunshine. Then the rain started and staff immediately found us another table under cover. When it got worse we decided to stay for a meal and despite it being extremely busy staff moved us to an inside table. The food - Rising Sun burger and Teriyaki Salmon - was great, delicious and well presented. We returned for a second visit later in the week. Excellent food once again and customer service was amazing - special thanks to Harry who truly went above and beyond to help us. Thank you so much. We will definitely return on our next visit to Norfolk.

Guess £41 for 2 burgers n fries with extra coleslaw and onion ring for a takeaway is what some people would say HOW MUCH!!Well, all I can say is try it because the quality, presentation, and taste was something to behold. In my opinion well worth the price of 10 big macs. Can't fault them will definitely be returning next time we are on the broads. Thanks Guys..

Great location by the river. Lovely outside area. Cozy inside bar. Food was lovely. Had the steak which was cooked just right. The ribs was amazing, good size portions. Friendly staff.

Varied menu, including some unusual fusion options. Pizza's & traditional Sunday roasts. All very tasty & well presented. A bit pricey though.

We came here for our works Xmas meal, and it did not disappointing. The food was excellent. Staff went above and beyond for someone in our party with allergies and nothing was too much effort. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable despite being really busy. Service was quick too which was surprising as it was packed! Only thing we had issues with was the parking, bit other wise highly recommend the rising sun.

Excellent meal enjoyed on a Sunday lunchtime. Fitted us in as a table of 8 with a beautiful view over the river. Was waiting for other half of party and was under no pressure we just had a few drinks whilst waiting. Food was excellent, everyone enjoyed their choices, service by Poppy was first class, she had good banter and was just the right amount of attentive. We all enjoyed our meal and will definately visit again. Nice touch on the birthday dessert! Only thing that was not so good was the bathrooms but I have seen worse! Thank you!

Lovely location but beware do not order the cottage pie it's awful. Nothing like a traditional dish and had long pieces of stringy meat which seemed neverending and very difficult to eat. Some of it was dry and burnt on to the dish. Not much flavour either. It was very expensive too. I think I made a bad choice but you wouldn't think you could go far wrong choosing cottage pie . Never again!

Went out on a boat at the Broads with the family and so popped by for roast as it was close. Pub was easy to miss as it was right next to King's Head, and parking was a bit hard as it was so packed! I guess it's because both pubs use the same car park, neither does it help when there's no lines painted so people were just parking all over the place.Apart that, the service was great, they were quick to seat us, despite us being a table of 11 walking in. You can opt to sit inside or outside, children and pet friendly. We also got the view of the Broads too and lots of people were kayaking along it. I'd highly recommend the roast, lots of gravy served. I would only fault on their Yorkshire pudding as it felt a bit dry (despite the gravy!) and not that many veg selection. Worth the price too.. Oh, the pizza was very good too; they're freshly cooked from their pizza oven!Overall, I'd highly recommend and would be returning if I was in the area.EDIT: be warned! Kitchen closes at 8 pm!

Very disappointing. Went here after a local walk as it’s in a great location with a beer garden by the side of the broads. Sadly the service was very poor right from the start. Initially we sat down and had to request menus after nobody handed them out after 15 minutes. We waited another 15 minutes but nobody took our order so we did everything to try and attract the waiters attention. I ended up getting up and waving at him only to be told they were pausing kitchen orders because the chefs were overloaded. By which we point we already had drinks so agreed to wait 30 minutes before he’d put in the order. Well at that point the food did actually arrive quicker than we’d been anticipating and it was very good. Tasty and good portions. We then waited and waited… and waited but the server refused to make any kind of eye contact. We finally managed to get his attention on his way past and asked for the desert menu. We then waited for a very long period eventually again having to catch him on his way past and ask if he could take our order, only to be told he’ll be right back. We watched as he slowly dithered about doing anything but come back to take our order. 20 minutes later we’d had enough and tried to do everything to catch his attention and ask for the bill. Even that was impossible so we ended up asking a kitchen porter who was apologetic and got the bill himself.Absolutely shocking service and such a shame as it’s a lovely pub in a great location but the service (or at least the one male server who was responsible for the outside tables) did a terrible job, we certainly won’t return.
